We reach the bottom of the stairs and I look to the table and see Ms. Rose sitting at the table waiting for us.

"Oh hey Aiden," Rose smiles, she looks at Kayden and looks away.

"Ouch," Kayden says holding his hand over his heart.

We take a seat at the table, Kayden to my right side and Rose across from me.

"Sssooooo wanna play 20 questions?" Rose says breaking the silence.

"Sure," Kayden says nodding his head.

I just nod my head.

"I'll start, umm so Aiden have you lived here your entire life?" Rose asks.

I stop eating and look down at my lap. The memories flood into my head as I just sit there.
Her words echo in my head
Worthless, Ugly, Disgusting,Disgrace, Useless, I wish you would die, GO KILL YOURSELF!!!

The voices just got louder and louder. I feel a single tear run down my face. I take a deep breathe.

"I-I n-n-no I-I used t-t-to li-live i-in C-Colorado until I w-was 13 t-then I m-moved here w-with my u-uncle" I stutter looking down.

I feel Kayden's hand on my hand with a concerned look.

I just mouth I'm fine. He nods his head but I can see he doesn't believe me.

"So umm....Aiden it's your turn to ask on of us a question," Kayden says.

"O-okay uhh.....why did y'all move here?" I mumble.

"We moved here because of my moms work," Kayden response.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~,~~~~We continued to ask questions for the rest of the time while we were eating then we helped clean up and left

Wait a minute I'm forgetting something. Oh I have to go get my medication.

"K-Kayden?" I mumble, " I have to go to my house and get something, can we go?"

He nods grabbing his phone and keys. "Mom me and Aiden are going to get something from his house we'll be back."

"Aiden and I," she corrects him, "and okay drive safe."

"We will," He shouts before closing the door.
We make our way to the car, text my uncle that we're coming, and drive to my house.

We get to my drive way and park. We get out of the car and make our way to the door.

Before we knock Treyvon opens the door and welcomes us in.

"Hey kiddo," Treyvon smiles.

"Heyyy I'm not a kid, I'm almost a grownup," I say pouting.

He chuckled shaking his head, "Who's this?"

"I'm Kayden sir nice to meet you," Kayden says holding his hand out to shake.

"No need for formals you can call be Treyvon," he says shaking his hand.

After that we went upstairs to get the stuff that I would need.

As I open the door I feel Kayden right behind me. LIKE RIGHT THERE.

I hurry and open the door before I get flustered and run and jump onto my bed, putting my face in the pillow.

I feel the bed go down and look to see Kayden sitting on the bed.
