The Mission

Jungkook pov

I woke up to the sound of the alarm only to see that it was only 4 am. Sigh in frustration I got up anyways and started walking up towards the bathroom to shower. Soon as I was done I wrapped a towel around my waist and headed towards my massive walk-in closet, pulling out my all black suit with a dark maroon red tie. Looking at the mirror I fix my hair to a clean finish and walk out my pin house apartment with my sunglasses.

Soon I got out of the elevator with my partner waiting outside, "ready for another mission?" He asked as I was about to get the car.

"You know I'm ready for another. Last night was so easy that I don't know why you all called me in for when you could have just handled it by yourself." I said while he just shrugged his shoulders.

"Sorry boss. You should talk that to the higher ups."

"Hm. Besides I can't do this coming mission anyways. I am going to the cemetery to visit him."

"Oh right is that coming up? Sorry about that man."

"Don't be. I did tell the boss that I will need a couple of days off."

"You two were a great couple. Sad that we didn't see this coming."

"I should have trusted my own instincts and just follow him in this mission that we had."

"Hey, don't blame yourself on it too hard. None of us ever see that coming...."

"Yeah, and because of that the bad guy got away." I said in anger while we drove off the headquarters.

Author pov

"Alright everyone. As you all know that I called you in for a meeting. As some of you know there is a case of another assassation of another higher ups." The boss lady says as she clicks a small side of a PowerPoint of who it might be. "As you can see that the face is covered but the sign shows that this person is working for 'dragon lily''", showing a close up of the tattoo of the dragon around a lily flower on its inner wrist. "As some might know that this person got away a few years ago and now she is making a comeback, but this time with few new people." Clicking another slide showing another person. "This person here is her new taker. One of our spy couldn't get any closer look of this person didn't make out since he was already caught by him and word said he's the angel of death." She clicked another slide showing a small clip of what she means by 'angel of death'.

The small video clips show the man shooting 30 people so fast that it took like 10seconds or that it feels like 10 seconds in a single shot and fast hands to hand comebacks, that you can't even blink to see what is going on. The sound of whispering agents talk among themselves about who this crazy person be that fast. The boss lady cleared her throat getting everyone's attention again.

"I need all of you to see who this person is and sooner we find out who, the better we find dragon lily and put her behind bars. I will assign 2 people for this mission and you will know as you will be called to my office. You are all dismissed." The boss lady says and everyone in the meeting room all got up and walked out the room talking who will get to do this mission.

"Jungkook, can I talk to you for a minute in my office?"

Right then and there Junkook already knew he was going to be asked to do this mission. Jungkook nodded his head, "I'll be there in a few minutes. Let me put some of my work in my office if I may." Jungkook said to his boss.

"Of course." She said to him and watched him disappear in the hallway.

I knew it that she was going to ask me the moment she called my name. "Jungkook! My man! It's been ages." Taehyung says as he put his arm around my neck.
