CHAPTER 11

"Jordan I need you tell help me because I might not survive this..." What?? What is she talking about I looked at her in confusion.
She saw my confusion and told me not to worry I should sit down and she will tell me everything.
I quietly sat down  and she started. "Jordan I adopted  Bianca that's her name Bianca. Because of that my husband hated me firstly and secondly he hated me because I couldn't give him a baby."
I felt it for her this time tears were rolling from her eyes.
"Jordan... After I adopted Bianca anytime I ask him for money he will beat the hell out of me. That's what landad me in the hospital."
"Bianca don't know he always beat me I am always happy with her."
"When she was growing he stopped beating me because I didn't ask him for anything and I still did my work as a house wife."
I listen with rapt attention feeling so sad for her. And I knew I needed to help her.
"Yesterday after much work I was feeling cold and having a running nose. I decided to ask him for some money to go to the chemist."
"If Bianca was around and she found out I was Ill without thinking twice she will go and buy the drugs if she have the money."
"He pounced on me and started to beat me and was telling me to ask the bastard child I took to help me."
"He beat me until I fainted. And then I found myself here."
I held her hand trying to comfort her I didn't know when tears rolled from my eyes. And I made up my mind that, that monster called her husband will be arrested.
"Jordan, you must take Bianca as your sister, take care of her, make sure Andrew doesn't hurt her, help me find a Job for her and if she find a man to marry try to investigate about the man because I don't want my daughter to go into the hand of a monster, and finally on her wedding day, give her this....." She removed her necklace from her neck and gave it to me.
"Wow this is beautiful" I told her admiring the necklace on my hand.
"Jordan..." Florence called me and held my hand. "Promise me to do all what I said."
"Florence I promise I will try my best." But I was  not happy that she was going to die.
