Kōtarō..you where the only who really called him by his first name. You had been close with him since first year and in second year he had confessed to you, well you say confess. It was more it slipped out in a middle of a conversation you where having with him. So it kinda started if there.

It had been exactly a year since the two of you had got together. Soon enough it would be your birthday. The first birthday Bokuto would get to spend with you as your boyfriend.

More to say he was overly excited about your birthday more than you where.

Bokuto was sat in his bedroom fiddling around with stuff with his tongue stuck out slightly to the side tilting his head as he wrapped up at least 4 presents.

After finishing wrapping he let out a small sigh placing all of them to the side as he jumped up brushing his hands off "good going Bokuto...good going..now for the cake.."

He jumped downstairs grabbing everything he needed as he got out his phone ringing Kuroo and Akaashi as he opened the flour which involved it exploding everywhere

"ACK!"

He screamed just as the boys picked up with a small sigh being heard from Akaashi.

Around an hour later they had all finished helping the airhead making the cake with a sigh as they both hang up with Bokuto standing there with his iced cake proud of himself.

He didn't have a clue what he had just did but he was proud of himself none the less.
He opened his contacts quick as shit as he rung up F/N.

The girl had answered quicker than ever as she sat on her bed bouncing up and down slightly holding her phone to her ear
"Hi Kōtarō-Kun!"

He smiled brightly rushing upstairs to grab the four presents going straight back downstairs
"Hey! Do you mind coming rounddd? I have a surprise for you!"

F/N smiled brightly as she grabbed her jacket, well more so Bokuto's but whO caReS.

"Yeah sure! Just give me a few minutes!"

And a few minutes had gone by and she was right, she was there and she had ran in not even noticing the gifts and the cake she just jumped right onto the boy with a bright smile.

He stumbled back slightly holding out his arms not expecting her to be the quick. Noticing she hadn't noticed the things on the side he had lifted her off of him and placed her down
"Look over thereeeee"
He exclaimed jumping up and down slightly

F/N had immediately jumped up from his arms looking over with a small gasp
"Thanks Kōtarō-Kun!"

She ran over unwrapping the presents and ended up just holding three plushies and half a piece of cake in her mouth. Once she had turned around Bokuto was stood there with a small shining ring in his hand jumping up and down still.

"Huh?-"

She looked down to the ring then back up at the boy tilting her head a little still chewing in the cake.

"It's a promise ring! So for every promise I make I have to keep it! That's another promise!"

She smiled brightly bouncing up and down more than ever "thank you! I love it!"

She had taken it already slipping it onto her small finger pulling the living owl down into a kiss

He blinked looking down to her eventually kissing back as he wrapped his arms around her smiling into the kiss.

"Happy birthday L/N-Chan...~"
