Tonight, was the family dinner. If I say I wasn't nervous, I'll be lying. I know mom was more nervous. She hadn't seen John in 26 years. Hopefully everything would be okay. "Bella, can we go to the mall?" Sky said. "Fine, but only because I'm sick of sitting in the house." "Thank you." "Whatever." Sky and I went to the mall and walked around for hours. "Bella, what do you think of this dress?" "I like it. Are you going to buy it?" "Maybe, let me look at two more outfits." "Okay." I pulled out my phone and checked the time. It was already 6 and the dinner starts at 6:30. "Sky hurry up, I have to get dress for the family dinner." "Okay."

Where did the time go? I have to admit I was not looking forward to this dinner. I haven't seen or talked to John in about 26 years. I was super nervous, but I put on a face and walked through the doors to the restaurant. When I walked in, I saw everyone laughing and talking like everything was normal. I went and sat down beside Bella.
"Hey Jasmine, nice outfit." John said. "Om, thanks John." I said. "Snice you're here, we can finally order food." Bella said. John and I both chuckled. I have to admit I was super nervous about this dinner, but I'm not anymore. After a while I started to loosen up. We talked about random mess, we laughed, and I even got up and started dancing to my favorite song that came on. Everybody kept looking at me. I had a really good time. I don't believe I ever was this happy. Then once the dinner was over, Bella got in her car and left, and Blake and John were about to leave to, until I interrupted them.
"John wait." "What's up?" "What I did 26 years ago was totally wrong. I really missed you, and this dinner helped remind me how much I have missed you. So, I want to start over. Do you think we can?" "Jasmine, I won't denied it when I said I miss you, but you have to realize I'm still in the Black Cobras, and I don't plan on leaving." John said. "I know, but I really want to give this a try, so what do you say?" "Fine, let's give this a try."
