"Aren't the lights just beautiful?" I said to Andy. We were taking a walk through the park, as it was Christmas eve and he wanted it to be special. He smiled at me and nodded.
"They really are. I told you that midnight is the best time to take a walk around Christmas!" I looked around again. The buildings were illuminated in a way that made the whole street light up in front of us. It definitely wasn't like it normally was. Tonight it was peaceful, unlike usually when it was loud and crowded. The streets were bare. There was a certain feeling in the air, and I had felt it the entire time that we had been out, that tonight would be amazing. "It's amazing to believe we have been dating for almost two years isn't it? It seems like just yesterday, we first met. Do you remember that?" I nodded.
It had been truly love at first sight that caused us to fall in love. I was a cashier at a local store, and Andy happened to come just to buy some energy drinks and magazines. My first thought was how amazing his eyes were, and he seemed to notice me a little too. So, I made a comment on an article I knew about in the magazine, and that led to conversation after conversation, ending with him asking me to dinner. Luckily the store was dead, or else we wouldn't have been able to talk for that long. Now here we are, almost two years later, and you still see the same beauty as you had seen in him that day in January.
"I remember that when I first looked at you, I saw something that I had never seen before in any other girl, a certain beauty I can't describe. I knew I was in love." I smiled. "I love you-" Andy said, before slipping on some ice that covered the street and falling over. I immediately rushed over to help him up. But before I got there, he got on one knee and pulled a small box out of his jacket. He opened it to reveal a ring.
"Oh my..." I said before he cut me off.
"Heather, the past two years have truly been amazing, would you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" I smiled and started to cry, tears streaming down my cheeks.
"Yes, of course I'll marry you Andy! Yes!" I said through tears of joy. He slipped the ring onto my finger and smiled widely. Then, with the stars and Christmas lights twinkling brightly around us, we kissed, never wanting to stop. As we pulled back, he smiled at me and picked me up. And, as the clock ticked midnight, Christmas day, I remembered that girl, standing behind the counter of that small store on that cold day in January, not realizing that her life was about to be changed forever in the best way possible.

I'm sorry that some of these are first person and are short; I wrote most of these when I first started writing imagines, and before I ever published them or anything. So yeah. Do you guys want me to write more, or do you want me to just stop..? Comment with what you think.
Anyways, this idea came from a imagine I read, (I'll put it at the top) and I just loved the idea and wanted to add to it. I hope you guys at least kind of liked it, I know there are a lot better writers out there, and it means a lot to me if you read these, so if you're reading this, thank you so much, you mean a lot to me. <3
