Cassie P.O.V

It's been 2 weeks since I was accepted into the X Factor, and I haven't heard from them since. Speaking of X Factor, Louis and Harry, they're gorgeous and I now know what Lyndsey and Ashley were talking about.

Singing in front of all those people, that was truly remarkable too. I've never felt so happy, and when they cheered, they made me feel like I could fly. I can't wait to go back.

Ding. I picked up my IPhone5 and looked at the screen. 'One new email!' Was glowing in white letters on the screen. I unlocked my phone, read the message, and grinned. It said,

'Congratulations! You were accepted to the next round of the X Factor! Unlike the other seasons, we won't be having boot camp this year. Instead, the judges went through and picked their 100 favorites out of the 2,000 people they accepted, and you were one! The next stage will be held in Los Angeles, California, September 3rd, 2012. We will fly you out too L.A, provide your transportation to anywhere and everywhere, and pay for your food. To claim your plane tickets, please click the link below! Thanks!'

No boot camp this year? Weird.

"Mom!" I yelled,

"What?" I heard, coming from another room. "We'd better start packing, we're going to L.A!"

-------

"Hello welcome to Charlotte Douglas International Airport, thank you for choosing Jet Blue. Plane 647 is now loading, will the ladies and gentlemen sitting in our first class please come to the desk and prepare to board?"

This is it! I'm about to fly to L.A! Mom and I walked over to the desk and handed the lady our tickets. She scanned them and said,"Right this way!" As she directed us towards the door.

We walked down the boarding ramp on onto the plane. I love flying on planes, it relaxes me. We sat down in first class, and waited for the other passengers to board. It was 6:47 am. After about 10 minutes they finally got on and the plane started moving.

"Hello and thank you for choosing jet blue, we're going to go through the standard procedures when it comes to your seat belts and what to do in case of an emergency." The attendant said.

I instantly tuned her out, I've flown on planes so many times that I've memorized the speech that they all give. I've never flown this far, though. It's a long way from Charlotte, North Carolina to L.A, California.

I bent down under my seat and got my hot pink book bag by Victoria's Secret out. I reached in the front pocket and got out my phone, putting the bag back. I plugged in my earphones and started playing "Drops of Jupiter" by Train. It's one of my favorite songs.

As I sat there I started daydreaming about what's to come. The competition, the judging, the fame, the music; and Harry Styles. I thought about how perfect his hair was and how soft his lips looked. I thought about how his eyes bore into mine, and how warm and fuzzy he made me feel. But then I realized, he's a judge. And Kelly said he's a hoe, and I shouldn't spend any of my time thinking about him. But I couldn't help it, I eventually fell asleep thinking about the X Factor, the way my life was about to change, and Harry Styles. I was about to go on the biggest adventure of my life.

"Cassie, wake up Hun we're here." My mom said, shaking me softly.

"Mmmmmph." I grumbled to her, indicating that I was awake. I opened my eyes and squinted.

Everyone else was up and filing out of the plane. I took my headphones out and put them back in my bag. I realized how sloppy I must look right now, with my bed head and tight v- neck grey short sleeved shirt and too- big saggy black sweatpants; also, the fact that I was wearing worn flip flops.
