Little Surprise (Chapter 10)

It has been three months since you have been dating Kurumi and everything has been going pretty fine on both of your ends. Shido and the rest of the gang decided to give her a chance for you. It was Tohka was the one who got everything to change their minds.

As she mention they all pretty much destoryed a lot of buildings among other things until they met Shido and he shield their powers for they could have a normal life in the world. You still wonder if kissing Kurumi changed anything for you, but you never felt anything.

"So how does taking their powers work anyways Shido?" You asks.

"Well as you know kissing them their powers kinda disappears, but not fully either. Their physical abilities is still superior from any normal humans. But any great stress they can use limited astral dress or angel." Shido explains.

"So I'm guessing, I don't have the same ability as you do? I kissed Kurumi and her and I are pretty much the same. Nothing has changed."

"Probably not then. I still don't know fully how I even got the ability to do so. Kotori actually was the one who told me that, I do. Now my job usually is when a new spirit comes here I have to make them fall in love and kiss me." Shido slightly laughs.

"Sounds like heaven." You said jokingly.

"(F/N)!" Kurumi yells out.

You turn around seeing Kurumi running toward you  waving her hand wearing her school outfit. Doesn't matter what she is wearing, she always look so beautiful to you. She finally stops in front of you catching her breath.

"Hi Shido. I'm taking (F/N) now." Kurumi smiles."

"Have fun you two. I probably should head home and start dinner anyways or Tohka is going to have a fit." Shido waves goodbye.

"Hey Kurumi, I was about to go look for you." You said.

"I wanna do something special with you." Kurumi wraps her arms around you.

"Like what?" You put your arms around her.

"A wedding." She said in a quiet tone.

"A what? I don't think I quite heard that properly." You pretend to clean your ear out.

Kurumi hands you a flyer that shows a woman in a wedding dress with a red rose and a man in a black suit with a red bowtie. They were smiling and holding hands. Kurumi went quiet as you start to read the back of it.

Some stress went away after you read the flyer, you actually thought Kurumi already wanted to get married to you, but you aren't sure if you ready to commit that far. You aren't saying you don't love her which you do, but marriage is a big deal with you. And so many kids your age jumps into it too fast and then here comes the divorce.

"So what do you say?" Kurumi was blushing while looking at you.

"Sure why not, I would love too with you Kurumi." You kiss her lips.

You read the flyer again to see where they were located at. They were located at the central street with all the food vendors that comes during the festival. Funny enough there is an actual festival going on right now as you thought about it. Maybe that is why the fake wedding is free for now. You took Kurumi's hand and started walking to your destination.

"Welcome welcome. I'm guessing you read or heard about our free promotion?" The woman smiles.

"We have." Your reply.

"Wonderful! You two are both adorable. My name is Carly, I be helping the both of you today then."

Carly went through the basic of the fake wedding. Where you two will wear the outfits they provide. And where you be at the alter waiting for your bride to be as the music starts she will walk down the alley wearing the wedding dress. The priest will say a few words, you two will put the rings on each other and then kiss. After that have some photos taken and then cake.

You look in the mirror looking at the suit you are wearing. You never wore one in your life, but you couldn't help to smile you thought you looked good in it. Hopefully Kurumi will enjoy seeing you in this.

"The things, I will do for Kurumi." You laugh." 

"Are you ready?" Carly knocks on the door.

"I am." You called out.

"Don't you look handsome (F/N). Well we shouldn't keep the bride to be waiting any longer either." Carly smiles.

You stood at the alter looking around the place. They really did a nice job for it being a fake wedding. You notice the little cake waiting for Kurumi and yourself with the bride and groomsmen on top of the cake. And a photographer in the corner.

You start to wonder if you guys actually have a real wedding one day who would actually come to it? You know your parents and sister would come. But would Shido and the rest of your friends actually come? You haven't even seen Origami for a while. Well more like she has been avoiding you and Kurumi when you two are together. Maybe Tohka could convince them to come. Then you lost those thoughts as the music started to play.

You saw Kurumi enter the doorway holding a banquet of flowers. Her wedding dress looks magnificent or maybe that was Kurumi herself or both. You felt a tear coming from your eye and you thought you shouldn't even cry because this is a fake wedding. But you never seen someone more beautiful than here right now.

"Hi (F/N)" Kurumi said when she got next to you.

"Hi Kurumi." You smile.

The priest started to talk as usually he said what a normal priest would say during a wedding for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part and so on.

"I do." You said and put the wing on Kurumi.  Then he said the same thing to Kurumi.

"I do." Kurumi slides the ring on your finger.

"Now you may kiss the bride."

You lift the thing up that was covering her face and you lean down kissing her. Your lips locked together once more.

"Time for photos." The photographer cheered.

He took a photo of you two kissing after the priest said his words. Then one of you two locking arms with each other. After that he took a photo of you two eating the cake together and one when Kurumi wipe frosting on your nose. Many other photos followed soon after.

You couldn't help to smile even if this wasn't a real wedding you never felt so happy at least generally happy until this day. You watch Kurumi as she was laughing with the girl Carly who helped set everything up. You start to picture of getting married with Kurumi in real life with your family and friends sitting in the booths. And settling down with her and maybe have a family of your own.

Your head started to hurt as you put your hand on your forehead. Something doesn't feel right now and your body feels like its overheating. You slowly watch as Kurumi runs towards you as fall to the ground with the last thing you see is Kurumi on her knees as you pass out.

So seems like everyone is coming along with Kurumi and be nice to her because of Tohka, but Origami isn't buying it.

Kurumi wanted a fake wedding with you. And you couldn't say no to her when she gives you that look with her eyes so you decided to say yes. And you felt happy doing it, but now your body is overheating why?
