My inner child

Taylor Swift's P.O.V.

I was staying in California for awhile and was making my way back to the hotel. My navigator had given me the wrong instructions so, now I was using my phone. As I was driving I saw light flickering in the woods. I felt like the light was drawing me to the woods. Normally I'd drive on, but something about the light wouldn't get out of my mind. I pulled into a hotel parking lot that was conveniently placed over there and started walking to the woods. As I was making my way in I saw the light appear in front of me then go forward. I ran after the light until the light suddenly stopped and slipped into a tree. I put my hand on the tree and felt myself fall in. Everything went black and it was eerily silent. I felt like I was floating and then falling very fast. I closed my eyes bracing for impact when suddenly I heard someone talking.

"Who are you?" I opened my eyes to see a Lego figure standing in front of me.

"I'm Taylor what the what just happened I was in the woods a few seconds ago?" The lego figure who I got a closer look at seemed very familiar. Wait, that's Emmet from The Lego Movie, but how is that even possible. I look around and see everything is in legos. I look down at myself and see I'm a lego figure too making me jump in surprise.  This has got to be a joke maybe if I close my eyes I'll be back in the woods. I open my eyes and see Emmet still standing there with a smile on his face. 

"Hey, Emmet how do I get out of here?"

"Why would you want to get out of here everything is awesome! I guess if you wanted to get out though you could ask that raccoon over there." Sure enough there was a raccoon over there so, I went up to it.

"What can I help you with?"

"I need to get out of here." 

"Fine follow me." I followed the raccoon to a huge ship and got in. Hopefully this time I'll be back in the woods in human form.

Sam Smith's P.O.V.

I had decided to visit the park for some reason. As I was making my way into the park a paper fell out of my pocket. The wind started picking up blowing the paper away from me. I chase the paper which lands on this slope. I go pick it up and then lean on the slope. Everything suddenly disappears and I feel myself floating. What is going on right now? I then start falling very fast and end up on a green meadow. I get up and look around to see this is definitely not the park. Am I even in England anymore?

"Sir, are you ok?" I hear someone ask, I look around and see a little boy looking up at me. 

"Umm, I think do you know where I am?" 

"You have a British accent don't you?"

"Yeah so, I'm guessing this isn't England."

"Nope, you're in the U.S." I just don't understand maybe it's a dream yeah if I pinch myself I'll wake up from this. I pinch myself as hard as I can, but I'm still here with the boy looking at me.

"Do you want to play with me?" I see him holding a soccer ball. Maybe it's like Divergent and I have to play with him to wake up. Yeah, because that's really what's happened nice one Sam. I decide to play with him anyways since I have nothing better to do. As were playing I feel myself slipping into the youth. Playing football with my best mates not having a care in the world. I love how people are taken a liking to my music don't get me wrong, but I've missed the innocence that comes with youth. I fel myself getting more relaxed and just having fun. I can't help the smile that is forming on my face and start laughing for no reason. We decide to take a break and lay on the grass.

"See mister wasn't that fun?"

"Yeah that was. What's your name?"

"Mason, how about you?"

"Sam."

"Well, Sam that was fun I wish my dad would play with me like you did. I just don't get why adults get so stressed and forget what life is really about, seizing the moment and being true to your heart. Do you get what I'm talking about Sam?"

"Yeah thanks for showing me that today Mason." Suddenly I saw a ship coming out from the sky. Wait that looks familiar isn't that from the movie Guardians of the Galaxy. The ship lands on the field near us and I see Taylor Swift come out of it followed by a raccoon.

"Taylor what are you doing here?"

"Sam, oh thank God I'm not the only one. Well, long story short I fell into a tree after following a light I saw in the woods. How about you?"

"Well my story is similar, but it happened out of the woods. I felt something pulling me to go the park, when I was there a paper fell out of my pocket. The paper landed on a slope and when I picked it up I fell in."

"How is all this possible? This has got to be a joke I mean why are we in movies? I was in The Lego Movie and you are in Boyhood."

"Not to mention the ship you flew in on is from Guardians of the Galaxy. Hey maybe the paper I was trying to catch has a clue on it."

"It's the best thing we have at the moment." I nodded and took the paper out of my pocket and opened it. I looked at the paper which had a message on it saying, Find your inner child. I showed Taylor the message.

"Basically we're stuck here because that message makes no sense at all."

"Well no, I think I know how we can get out. When I was playing with Mason I felt myself kind of start to see the park. I think we have to feel like we're young again, but we can't force it. Mason said to me that adults get so stressed and forget what life is really about, seizing the moment and being true to your heart. I think to get out when need to do that just be like kids again." 

"Maybe you're right Sam, but how are we going to do that?"

"Ok you said that you were in The Lego Movie and there' s a big party at the end maybe we could find our inner child there."

"Yeah it's worth a shot. I'll go talk to the raccoon and you can say goodbye to Mason."

"Bye mason thanks for everything and don't worry you'll be ok."

"Bye Sam thanks for the confidence."

"C'mon Sam we need to leave now." I wave goodbye to Mason and go with Taylor on the ship. When we got to The Lego Movie it was at the end during the party. 

"Let's find our inner child Taylor." I decided to let go not caring about what people thought and just focused on what Mason had said. I suddenly saw the park amazing and then felt grass. I looked around and laughed I was back at the park. This was too much for one night I decided to go home hopefully Taylor made it back safely. 

Taylor's P.O.V.

Maybe I should focus on what my song Shake it off is about I decided to just relax. I focused on when I was just younger and felt myself starting to reappear in the woods. I finally was back in the woods, I went back and got the car and drove to my hotel. I hope Sam got it back safely. Even though I still don't understand why we went through that I'm glad we did. I forgot how good it felt to be a kid again and I'm not going to it made me who I am today and I'm never letting that go.
