"Louis can you please come and help me?" I call through the flat.
"Uhh I have to wash...the uhh...cat.." He calls back. I sigh he is such a lazy bum!
"We don't have a cat." I remind him. I flip my chestnut hair over my shoulder and continue to pack my suitcase.
"I meant the uh telly." he reprimands, I can hear him smiling. Yes, I can hear his smile, we have been together for two years okay!?
I laugh and shove the last pair of jeans into my already overflowing blue rolling suitcase. I flop down on Louis and I's bed and sigh loudly. I sit up and loudly zip up the bag. Standing up, I remember I left my TOMS under the bed. I lean under the bed to grab my toms. I pull myself up and dust off my sweat pants.
Just at that moment Louis walks through the door. He stands behind me and wraps his arms around my waist.
"Darn! I was just coming to help you!" He fake cries. I scoff and turn around to face him.
"Please! You waited till you heard me zip it up to conveniently walk through here" I put air quotes around the last part. You can practically see the sarcasm dripping from my mouth.
Laughing he wraps me tighter in his arms so that our chests are touching and I'm almost standing on his feet.
"I'm going to miss you so much babe." He whispers seductively in my ear. I shiver and look into those piercing blue green eyes of his.
"Then let me give you something to remember me by." I whisper back. I lean in close to his lips and brush my pink lips against his. I can feel the static and warmth radiating off them. He is breathing heavily and tries to catch me in a kiss but I draw back my head at the last moment. He moans and I chuckle. Teasing him is so much fun because he is so easy to tease. I pull away and search the room for anything I missed.
I was really excited to go back to the states for two weeks. I hadn't seen my family and friends back in Maine in months. Also I just needed to get back to American customs. Living in London is so much different I could hardly believe it. Sure I had been living here for two years but I had lived in the USA for eighteen years. American ways will always win. It's hard to believe that only two years ago I was working for X Factor as an interviewer. Yes, that was where I met the love of my life. I helped to film each one of those video diaries. Trust me I still have the ear plugs I would wear because of said love. Louis asked me out after they sang viva la Vida. I can still remember it to the last detail.
FLASHBACK
Man, they are good. One Direction I mean. They are going to make it big in this contest. I adjust my X FACTOR logo jacket. I can just see them from back stage if I tilt my head a little to the left and pretend to write something down. Lets see what are their names again...umm..gosh I am terrible with names, always have been. I think it's Harry, Leon, Zaine, and Nile. Oh I'm forgetting one...in their first video diary he said he liked carrots so he will be carrot boy CB for short. Anyways, I'm standing here watching them perform instead of working. Oh well. Oh, they just finished and now their heading back stage! Right towards me I hold out my hand and give them each enthusiastic high fives as they file off stage. CB comes off last and jumps into the high five squealing like a little girl. I laugh and rub my wrist that boys got muscles. He laughs and grabs my wrist from me.
Kissing it he mutters "you alright love?"
"Peachy keen." I reply tweaking his cheek and heading off to plan the next video diary.
"Hey wait up!" He calls, breaking away from the group of boys and running in my direction. Coming up to me he adjusts his shirt and jacket then runs his fingers through his hair.
