I hurried out of the school doors. I had to rush to the library to see if they had the old magazines before my mom got suspicious. Luke and I had agreed to meet up in the corner and walk home together.
I was running by the time I was out of the gates and turned left. I turned left and made my way to the library. I had passes by a couple of odd stores. I was running when I saw a peculiar group of people.
They were weirdly dressed,  it thus I had been running so I didn't get a good look. I turned a corner and I had came to Asta's store hoping she didn't notice. I took a look inside and saw Asta turned away from me.
I let out a sigh of relief and ran down a a flight of stairs. I had looked around and saw the large library. I walked towards the library. It had recently been relocated and moved over here.
There used to be a old yellow building with a bell here. When my mom found out she started tearing up and got really sad the whole week. I had walked in and looked around. The old lady at the desk didn't notice my presence at all.
I was looking for the section and started walking around. I saw a few people just minding their own business and so was I. I looked out the window. I saw the peculiar group of people again.
Unfortunately I had more important things to do so I paid no mind to them. I remember seeing a boy around my age staring at me. I looked over and met his eyes. I stared for a while. He had navy blue eyes and black hair.
He also had a chain that looked like a sword. Our eye contact was broken however when one of his friends pulled him back, causing him to get distracted. If he looked back he would have noticed I was gone as I was hiding behind one of the large shelves.
I turned away from them. I looked around and I saw a R-S section. I pumped my hand. "Jackpot!" I walked over there. I was looking around the S isle when I saw all of the magazines. I saw a whole lot.and read the covers.
I got some of the ones from 10 years that stood out to me. I even saw my moms name on one of the covers. I turned around and looked at me phone. 3:35 I cursed to myself. This would be around the time that I started walking home.
I didn't have enough time to buy them because I was distracted by that boy. I ran out of the library. I heard a faint "No running in the library!" But as I was already out I didn't care. I ran back up the flight of stairs and stalked past Asta's store.
I had run a few streets and had made it to the destination where Luke and I were to meet. I saw him and he looked strangely at me but I could care less. I grabbed his arm and ran, bringing him with me.
He started matching my pace and we ran, no questions asked. We had made it to the street where we lived. Asta and Kageyama weren't home so we waited behind their house.
I caught my breath as Luke was looking down trying to stabilize his breathing still. He looked at me, slight amber from being late, and making him participate in physical antics. I think the main thing was me ending up with nothing, although.
I could hear him ranting in a few languages I didn't know, but I ingnored him and I pulled out my phone yet again. 3:43 I silently cursed to myself. We ran for nothing, we were late. I grabbed Luke's hand and sprinted to the fence.
I looked over. There wasn't anyone in our backyard I looked to Luke. I asked "Do you think you can jump over?" He looked at me and gave a worried face. The fence was about 8 feet high. It had little stones jutting out, perfect if you could rock climb.
The reason I asked is because 1: Luke was unathletic and 2:He had a irrational fear of hights. I started climbing and Luke was looking up at me, uneasy. He had grabbed on to the rocks.
He started to climb but bell down after like 3 feet. I was already at the summit and held down my hand. Luke started climbing to around 5feet and I leaned down and hoisted him up.
We jumped down to our yard and made a beeline to the treehouse. I looked around after Luke had climbed up. There was no one in sight. My mom was probably at the store or something. I turned and climbed up.
Luke was holding the trapdoor open for me. Once I was in Luke started rambling to me. "What were you thinking?" "What took you so long?" Why don't you have anything?" "Did you get spotted?" Why did you make me run for nothing?" "We could have just gone around instead of climbing that fence!" And other things.
I let my mind wonder as I tuned him out. Who was that boy? I was out of it when I heard "Are you even listening!" Come from Luke. I made a "uh huh" sound and he grabbed my my bag "Whoa what are you doing?!" I asked jolting up.
"Wanna fight huh?!" I made a intimidating face with my eyebrows furrowed down and my head up, looking down at him with an anger vein on my face. I also had my hand in a fist.He sighed probably releived I'm back to normal or whatever.
He took out my homework or today. I gave him a sad look, not wanting to do my work.I explained to him, "We don't even have to do it! We're not even gonna be here Friday to turn it in anyway!" Luke froze.
The sudden realization of what we were going to do to our poor mother dawned on us.Asta and Kageyama would be so disappointed. My mom would probably cry. My worst thought though was She would lose who she loves twice.
I looked down. I didn't even know if my mom loved my dad. I think she loved the guild though. She looked so happy. We wouldn't be going if we knew everything though.
I wish we could have been born into the guild, I would have so many nice friends. I sat down in a bean bag chair. My phone fell out but I had more important things to think of.
I wonder what everyone would think of my mom? Would they ask for her back? Would they even accept me into the guild? I didn't even think of that! I hope they will. I was getting pretty sad thoughts so I went to get my phone to distract myself.
I noticed it was gone. I looked around. I saw it and crouched down, as it fell under the couch. I was going to get it when I stopped. Luke noticed and asked "What's wrong?" I pulled out one of the papers and my phone and stood up.
It was Luke's birth certificate. "Guess it fell" I mumbled to myself. I didn't get a chance to read it before so I skimmed through it. I read something world shattering so I dropped my phone and his certificate out of surprise.
I put my hands to my mouth out of utter shock. Luke was very confused and concerned and bent down to pick it up. He read it and stopped too. We were just standing there and thinking "Natsu Dragneel is our father?!"
