I let out a grunt as I feel myself taking control of my body once more. Not finding enough energy to open my eyes, I slowly try to move my arm and feel where I am. My body seems to be lied down on a soft cotton surface, my guess is a hospital bed. As I raise my arm, I feel something take a hold of it and tingles like I've never imagined erupt across my body. Christian? Is this what he feels? "Mate! Mate!" Rhea exclaims in my head. Right Rhea... My wolf.

"C-Christian" I mumble out attempting to find more strength and move my body. I feel the tingles spread from my arm to my back and hair.

"I-I'm here angel" The familiar voice of my mate rings in my ears as I finally find the energy to open my eyes. As soon as I do, I squint at the brightness and precision of everything around me. I hear everything, the nurses conversation down the halls, the bumble bees outside my window and even the buzz of the vents circulating air in the building. I clutch my head attempting to gain a hold on all this newfound precision.

"I know it's a lot at once, but just focus on me. We'll take this one step at a time" Christian speaks  and I decide to try and open my eyes once more. They find Christians broad frame immediately and if possible, he's even beautifuler then I remember. I can see the obvious dark and red eyes from his lack of sleep and I hear a whine in the back of my mind. Christians expression turns to shock at the noise, maybe I did that out loud?

"It's okay Amelia, I know this is all new to you. I'm alright" He reassures and I hold my arm out to him and trace his cheeks, tingles spreading along my fingers once more. He returns my action with a smile and caresses my hand.

"Christian I have a wolf" I say to him and he doesn't seem at all shocked with the news. Does he know?

"I know, Xavier has been taking about her ever since you shifted. I'm sorry Amelia I've been so selfish. Just you were dying. We felt you die Amelia. I couldn't live if I just stood aside knowing I could save you. We ignited the werewolf gene in your DNA and turned you." Christian explains and I nod, attempting to process everything that happened. "I have to do this" He speaks up once more as leans towards me and kisses me. I wrap my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me and he returns the favour around my waist. I hear a rumble come from inside him as our kiss deepens. My body goes on autopilot as I leave a trail of kisses down his neck towards his collar bone. My gums pinch as I feel teeth elongate in my mouth and I let out a small whimper. Before Christian can pull away, I sink my canines in his skin and he lets out a grunt. A few moments later my body releases my canines and I pull away mortified.

"What the hell did I just do?" I exclaim worriedly meanwhile Christian just chuckles as he leans back towards me.

"You marked me Amelia" He whispers and pecks my lips once more. I feel heat rush to my cheeks and embarrassment settle in, I didn't even ask him if he wanted me to!

"Im so sorry!" I blurt out worriedly but I can only see happiness spread across his face.

"Don't be sorry little mate, we've been wanted you to do that since we met you" He replies smiling. "The doctor needs to come in and check on you, you've been out for twelve hours" He adds. What happened to everything when I was out? The alpha convention?

"What happened" I ask him, still pretty confused with all the events that have happened this past day.

"Two Alpha's poisoned you, on behalf of Victor. As mentioned before your body couldn't fight it off so we had to turn you. Bentley has been taking care of the convention all day, and the final ball starts in two hours. The girls have been taking care of it for you, they know you would have wanted it to be perfect. We all felt your death, but I've kicked everyone out of your room. Amelia I'd give anything and everything for a life with you, I love you so much" He explains, our moment is interrupted when the door opens revealing Dr Denver.
