12- Wanting Family

⚠️this chapter is a filler. And it's a comfort chapter/ kinda dark and sad (maybe)⚠️

She didn't want to see how it went. Nor listened to it. It's like a nightmare for Y/n to see. A genocide reminded her about her past from seven years ago.

The sky seemed fine and blue. The cloud was clear. But ruined by the vision from her own. Just a reason for her to get out from the team.

This was wrong. But she needed to wait for Emma and Ray to come back. Y/n couldn't believe this, but she's on Emma's side as Emma tended to make peace between the two sides and kept the balance instead destroying one's side to have the other side to be brought happiness.

She raised her hand to the air as she covered the sun. Hoping Emma and Ray came back faster. Y/n sighed. The wind was blowing her mask. The voice of the forest was calming for her.

She wanted this to stay forever and ever.

"Y/n!!"

Y/n looked over to her younger siblings. Audreen, Nandi, and Angel. "Yes?"

She was still five.

"Ciel is teasing us!" Audreen whined. Y/n sighed and hugged the three of the kids. "Aw, it's okay. I'll scold her." Y/n tried to comfort them. Of course she couldn't scold her.

Before the experiment, Y/n's body used to be very strong. A good health. "Y/n!!" The familiar voice of a girl called her. Y/n looked behind. "Yes?"

The blue-haired girl hughed her from behind. "Audreen took away my shoe!"

"Guys! It's still six in the morning!!" James yelled from behind. Y/n sighed and stared at Audreen. She handed her hand out for the younger girl. "Shoe?"

Audreen gave the shoe for Ciel. "Sorry, but you teased us!" Audreen said. There we go, another fight. Y/n shook her head. "Guys, if ya'll keep yelling at each other, I'll seriously duct tape both of your mouth!"

"Mouths." Corrected Nandi and James from behind. "Shut up!"

The rest of the kids were laughing. The usual antics of the kids always cheered her up and made the morning felt warm and nice. Y/n always acted like the second mother to took care of them.

"Y/n.." someone wailed. Y/n looked back and saw a Jennifer. "I had a bad dream..." Jennifer started. "Y/n..." Y/n looked to the other direction.

Jessica called. "I dreamed about being eaten..."

"Hey, I called her first!" Jennifer said. Jessica shook her head. "No, I called her first!"

There, the twins fought again.

Y/n sighed and carried both of them. Just like I said, Y/n was strong and healthy back then. "I'll help you sleep tonight." Y/n said as she smiled.

"Y/n! You gotta stop mothering them!"

"Yeah, 'Mom'." Y/n heard a snicker. She put down Jennifer and Jessica. "Who called me a 'Mom'?" Y/n asked. "James did!"

Y/n ran to James while James ran away giggling. The older sibling, Ryu sighed. "You both gotta stop doing that, oh and.. 'Mom', James was right, you gotta stop babying them." The eight years old said.

Y/n looked back and shot a glare at Ryu. "I'm not a mom!" She wailed. There, her child mode activated. The siblings laughed again.

It's always been like this. The warm morning, breakfast and everything. It was beautiful, warm, and happy. No mute, no problem.
