        Chapter 1

Rostiell City use to be a very prosperous city with many skyscrapers and buildings always so full of life it could barely contain its self. There was many night clubs and bars and so many shops always buzzing with too much business. Rostiell was basically a place for the younger aged werewolves always have been … until now. My father, Nicolas Rostiell, use to be the Alpha of this lively Rostiell City but then he died.

His death was sudden, no warning at all, he just died. There wasn’t even a way to try and save him none at all. He was with my mother, Sierra Mills-Rostiell, when they were driving back from their trip to Nuyenshire they got into a terrible accident. My mother was dead instantly my father died a couple after. I was at the scene with a female officer and the smell of death was at my nose in an instant. I didn’t know what else to do but scream so that’s what I did I screamed, a shout of mourning and sorrow. I dropped to my knees painfully, tears streaming down my face as the medics quickly covered there battered bodies. The female officers knelt down beside me and pulled me to her chest letting me cry loudly.

I knew at that moment that life was a cruel thing to live, it doesn’t matter how old, how young, where you live, your rank, race, nothing…life just wants to make people feel like complete shit. Life is tragic and that is a lesson I don’t ever want to learn again.

“Excuse me Alpha but may I talk to you?” James asked in a tone that made me tense with worry.

“Yeah. I mean yes you may.” I said professionally, well trying to sound professional I guess.

James came into what once was my father’s office closing the door behind him. I stood up and motioned for him to sit which he did. I sat down in my chair, well it was more like a throne by how big it was, and starred at James who had an unreadable expression on his face.

“What is that you need to talk about James?” I started.

“There is a problem.” He said simply.

I raised a brow at that statement. Well no shit there’s a problem that’s the only reason people come to my damn office is when there’s a fucking problem or complaint.

“Can you explain to me what this problem is exactly?” I replied in a calm tone.
