I hugged him. He was wet. I stepped back to see what that fluid was. He was drenched in blood. He was badly injured. Shivers ran through my body.I touched his wound and then closed my eyes on seeing how deep it was. I looked at his face. There was a faded yet content smile. He gazed upon me in love. I closed my eyes and hugged him as tears ran down my cheek.
But then, I was reminded of it all. All that happened today. I stepped away from him and then ran upstairs. I was still too hurt to love him again. But I had to stop and look back as he called me back with all the love he had for me. He shouted , " vandita". I stopped where I was. My hand automatically found my heart which was ready to run out of my body. My eyes were shut again. I heard his footsteps as he entered the living room. I turned back. He was on his knees. Crying like a child! I stood there like a stone, trying not to believe his tears. I was trying not to love him again. But he was the deity of charm. His eyes so genuine and his love, so captivating!
