"Where have you been?"

Levi startled when he heard the first question from Erwin after he was summoned by the blond to accompany him to dinner.

"I.. I don't understand..what do-"

Erwin didn't let him finish his words when he cut him off, glancing to where Levi was standing at, he speak, "Don't play dumb Levi.. you never broke any rules of mine before, but now, you just commit another one."

Levi bite on his lips, he just lied to his boss and of course he was spot on immediately. Lying is also one among other things that Erwin hates.

Slowly Levi sank to kneeling position, knowing that punishment awaits him. Now that his crimes to Erwin were not a secret anymore, there is no use in denying him. "I'm sorry-"

The glares on Erwin's face cut his words again. "Well, you probably lied because you don't want me to know about where you have gone to without my permission at the first place..." With that said, Erwin took a bite on his steak. Ignoring Levi on the floor.

"I'm sure you do know right that I don't tolerate this kind of things?" He said again, making Levi raise his face to looks at Erwin. Levi knows it perfectly, and he has never once breaking any rules to experienced this situation before. Usually, at some point, Levi is the one beating up someone else and not the other way around.

Levi glance towards the few men at the corner of the hall staring back at his direction, waiting for the orders from Erwin, and Levi already have the idea of what about to happened in just anytime now, Levi was not about to just accept everything, though so at least he will just, "Sir.. I.."

"No more words Levi.." With that spoken, Erwin raise his right hand as a signal from his men to get to work.

Levi gasps when his arms were roughly pulled back by large hands. "Sir.. Please.. give me another chance.." Levi plead pitifully, as his wrists being tied behind his back tightly, Levi's eyes never leave the blond man currently continue with his meal.

"Sir-" Levi was about to beg for mercy when a knee kicks were delivered to his ribs cage. Levi let out a series of cough before few punches strikes his stomach, making his mouth filled with blood.

"If you wish to keep it a secret, then have it your way. I really don't mind Levi. But, you will have a taste of what you will be getting the next time you choose to disobey me." Erwin didn't take any more than a quick glance towards Levi as he spoke. As if watching a man being beat up to a pulp while in the middle of a meals is nothing serious.

Levi trembles, a line of fresh blood now trailed down his chin. Usually, people in his situation would beg to be forgiven, saying that he would not let this happened again, or he will just straight away tell Erwin what he wanted to know and reveal where the hell he has gone to, to make them stop beating him up. But, Levi just couldn't do any of that. For the reason that, Levi couldn't exactly promised Erwin that he will never sneak out to meet Kenny again, cause he would want to do just that soon enough. He really couldn't ignore Kenny's call or chat messages, and he couldn't possibly rest assure thinking what if he declined Kenny's request to meet up. Sure, Erwin is important to him, and never once in this few years of working for Erwin has he ever broke his rules. Everything Erwin ordered him to do, from fetching him a cup of tea to murder someone in their sleep, Levi has did it without so much of a words. But now that Kenny has came back into the picture, and more than glad to have Levi back has somehow effect his current routines.

Levi stays silent through the torment, taking all the kicks, hits and punches until Erwin is satisfied or rather until Erwin has done devouring his steak. The pain is nothing knew to him after all, Its all too common untill, "Sir, can I..?" one of the men asked,
