All the things she said, running through my head.
“Oh, my, is something wrong?” Her first words, as she saw his tears. Ludger couldn’t help it-- she looked so much like-- Elle. No, something wasn’t wrong. It was like he was with her again. He had shaken his head, ocean orbs gazing into a replica of the same color.
Being with you has opened my eyes. Could I ever believe such a perfect surprise?

All the things she said, running through my head.
“It’s okay. There’s nothing wrong, Victor.” She wrapped her arms around him, embracing him. She had accepted it, accepted all his sorrow and wrongdoings. He could feel the brightness and blue of his right eye fade away, turning into the same color as the lake.
Victor. He couldn’t remember when that happened.
But now, she was on his side. And he was happy.
“Lara…”
