John: You wake up in the morning to see someone walking in, setting a bag on the bed on the opposite side of the room. He looked tired, his platinum blond hair hanging over his ruby eyes. He was grumbling about something, all You caught were the words "shades" and "asshats". Quite frankly, you didn't care. Shrugging, you turned on your side and closed your eyes again, bandaged arms sore and itchy. Sleeping was the only thing you truly did often, and they (those overly happy nurses) could hardly pull you out. You heard you were supposed to start a group therapy session today with some others, but you doubted you'd go. The boy grumbled again, dropping something else with a loud thump, and a sigh. The bed opposite of yours creaked and then there were no further interruptions. You inferred he went to sleep. He did look quite exhausted.
The new roommate- Dave; You already hated this place. You and your brother had had a long drive of silence, loud music, and glaring. You doing the glaring. When you walked in you were greeted by a familiar looking guy, who told you you couldn't have you shades. You honestly put up a pretty good fight before they got them, and after you refused to speak. They directed you to your room, and told you about your roommate. Apparently he was a kid your age, but they told you he didn't talk much, and not to tease him. You wondered what that was about, and were quickly answered when you walked in. First of all, you weren't allowed to close the door, something about him being on suicide watch. second, when you briefly turned on the lights, thinking he'd be asleep, it was after all three in the god damn morning, he turned and looked at you with blue eyes that reminded you of the oceans back in Texas. You gave a small nod, noting the bandages starting at his wrists and ending mid bicep, and started your grumbling again. You had been having withdraws lately, so they decided to put you on some light meds. Tossing down your books on The Creation of Applejuice, you moved to the twin bed and laid down. Eventually, you fell asleep to the rhythm of the boys breathing. You'd try to talk to him when you woke up.
Sollux- You arrived around three am, and heard a faint shouting noise. The kind nurse told you that was coming from a part of the building you wouldn't be allowed to, and directed you to a room with a small boy curled in the corner. Interesting. You were particularly happy today, your medicine working it's ways on your fucked up brain. You didn't address the boy other than giving him a slight once over, he appeared to be albino. You set your backpack on your desk and sat on your bed, pulling out some blue sheets you'd brought and a red comforter, working on getting that settler before pulling out your pillow and a bee plushie before curling up and attempting to sleep.
Karkat: You had fallen asleep after curling in a ball in the corner, crying. You were having a rough night, and completely forgot about the new person supposed to be coming. You ignored him and pretended to still be asleep, eyes closed as you breathed slowly.
Gamzee: You walked into your new room, laying on your bed after adding some motherfucking miraculous purple sheets spotted with twelve different colours of spots. You heard from s nurse you'd be getting a roommate, but he wouldn't arrive until morning.
Tavros: You weren't all that happy to be here. When you rolled your wheelchair into your room, you saw a tall boy laying on his bed, probably asleep, and he had stitches on three different cuts on his face. He also had weird clown makeup, but you still thought he was cute. You set your things down gently so you wouldn't wake him and put some sheets on your bed, pulling yourself into the bed and falling asleep almost immediately.
Eridan: you arrived late at night, a figure already in the bed across from yours, he looked rather large, and you were honestly a little scared he would beat you up if you pissed him off. You would do your best not to. You thanked the nurse (in the best english possible) and sat, pulling your sleeves down to make sure your scabs were covered, taking off your scarf and cloak. Being the prince of Spain, guards would be stationed around to make sure you weren't kidnapped or murdered. Pushing all thoughts to the side, you fix your bed. but don't lay in it. You're far to awake for that. It's going to take awhile to get used to American time, thats for sure.
Equius: You heard the door creak open, and decided to ignore it, the person who walked in smelled odd, like the sea. You kept your eyes closed, thinking maybe he'd just leave you alone. Thankfuklly, he did. Eventually, you truly did fall asleep, but only after hours of thinking.
