All These Little Things

Hello! My name is Heart Waverly. I am 19 and a half. I'm also pregnant! 39 months, to be exact. It's going to be a girl, my first child. I'm very exited and scared, because she is due about next week. I'll be alone when I go to the doctor, as always I'll stay alone. My parents kicked me out two weeks ago when they came back from their almost-a-year cruise ship vacation. It's not everyday you come home and see your teenage daughter sitting on the couch eating potato chips with a huge stomach. At first they thought I just stayed on the couch the whole time and got lazy, but when I told them my now ex-boyfriend had gotten drunk and raped me they didn't believe me. But I knew that even though my baby isn't born yet she believes me. I mean, her 'so called' father did this to me.

"Okay, Heart. Today you will stop moping around and go out." I told myself when I woke up in my hotel room. I bought a room after I got kicked out with the money I took from my parents. Hey, I had to do something to fend for two people! It's bad, I know. But I don't have enough money to buy food for me or Lilah. That's going to be my baby's name. I got out of bed and took a shower, conditioning my long dark brown hair and washing my body. I stepped out and dried off and got into some sweats, a tank top, and a jacket. As soon as I got out of my room, screams could be heard faintly. I shook it off and went to the elevator where I took it down from the top floor to the lobby. I walked out of the front doors, hordes of girls with posters and signs and holding shirts ran in the street and in between cars. Ooh, one girl almost got hit! I laughed silently and walked to the nearest cafe. "Good morning! Can I get you anything?" the cashier asked when I swung open the door. "Um, a vanilla latte would be fine thank you." I put some money on the counter as soon as my hot drink came. I walked upstairs where they had more seats and booths. It seems like I wasn't the only one, there were five other boys sitting at the booth closest to the stairs. "Hello!" One of them, a blonde, greeted me. I smiled warmly at them and took a seat a few chairs away from the group. I caught them looking in my direction a few times. These boys seem very familiar to me.....

"Excuse me, miss, may I use these napkins? My friend Louis spilled his drink on his trousers." The blonde one asked me. I put down my phone and nodded. I handed my stack of napkins an watched as he tried to wipe off the drink as much as he could. I giggled as he struggled when the spill was mostly near his friends crotch so I walked over and tapped one of their shoulders. The one with black hair looked up and smiled at me. "Yes?" I pointed to his friend with the spill. "Uh, yeah. I'm sorry, I don't mean to be all up in your business but I noticed your friends struggling over here." He chuckled as 'Louis' was starting to inch closer to a boy with curly hair as the clean up was getting awkward. "Do you mind if I help?" I asked. The one with black hair shrugged his shoulders and smiled. "Go ahead!" I thanked him and grabbed more napkins. The curly haired one was clearly not having a great time. "Err, hey there." Oh great, Heart! Now you sound awkward!! The blonde looked at me. His blue eyes seemed to mesmerise me. "C-could I help?" He looked from his friends to me a couple of times before answering. "Yeah! Yeah, sure! Um, it's just that Louis here got some of his drink near his, erm, man part, and uh, I'm a boy, too, and err....... Yes I need your help." He said nervously. I laughed and proceeded to help him and his friend.

After helping them, the five boys invited me to sit with them at their booth. "We've got plenty of room!" They'd said. I agreed and went to retrieve my stuff from my seat. I got seated next to the blonde, the one with the amazing blue eyes, like crystals, the beautiful Irish accent....... "Oi, you alright there?" One of them said. My eyes were wide open in embarrassment. "Oh no, I was talking out loud wasn't I?" I asked. I could feel my cheeks get hot. They all nodded with cheeky smiles. "Well, to clear up the awkwardness, I'm Liam. And this is Zayn, Harry, Louis, and Niall." Liam said while pointing out the boys. I locked eyes with Niall, smiling at him. "Oh! Now I remember you guys! You're in that band, One Direction!!" I said and clapped with delight. "Yeah that's right!!" Harry said. A few minutes passed by, none of us talking. Weird. Maybe it was because they were catching looks at my stomach. "Her name's gonna be Lilah. She's due next week!" I told them tapping my large stomach. "Oh, and my name is Heart Waverly" I added. "Who's the father?" Louis asked but groaned in pain when Liam nudged him with a glare. I giggled. "It's okay... her father won't be in the picture anyways. He got drunk and raped me...... even when I wasn't ready......" I muttered that last part. Zayn wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "I'm so sorry, Heart....." I cut him off with a wave of my hand. "It's fine, Zayn. It wasn't meant to be, me and him. Besides, I think I just made five new best friends!" I smiled. "Yayy! You guys, we just made a new friend today!!" Niall exclaimed and threw his hands in the air.

After just a few days, the boys and I got along very well. They took me to their flat, here in London where we live in, and hung out. I think Niall and I are the closest out of the rest of the group. We tell each other everything. Like yesterday, he told me he wishes he could find his princess. Someone that loves him for him, not because he's Niall Horan from One Direction. "Same here, Nialler. So far it's just you guys and Lilah in my life. Everyone else just ran out from me." I'd told him sadly. "We'll always be here for you, love. Always." Niall replied sweetly. I was about to reply but my stomach began to hurt very badly. "Owwww!!!" I wailed. "Oh my god, are you alright?" asked Niall with wide eyes. "T-take me to the hospital, Ni, I can't take this pain anymore!!" With that, he picked me up bridal style and carried me to his car. We left my house, he'd been visiting, and made our way to the hospital. "I need someone to check on her stomach, she's pregnant and due this week. She's having pains, though." Niall said to the nurse at a desk. She nodded to us and then to some muscle-y men, to which they brought out a gurney and carefully lifted me on there.
