Familiarity

(Waverly POV)

I am staring at the wolves and I get a rush of familiarity as I look at the guy next to the alpha. I notice him staring at me too and I smile while he smirks and winks at me. "Football team! Defense, Z 24." Zed says and all of the football players surround us as Addi pulls me closer and I hold onto her arm. "Where is the moonstone white hairs?" The alpha questions. "I think yuo have the wrong people." Addi says and I nod. "Our razor sharp claws will gut 'em and splatter their blood." A werewolf with 2 buns on her head said, the alpha and the guy gave her a look and she noticed. "Too much?" She asked and they nodded. "Wolves! On my command!" The alpha said and their eyes turned a golden color and their fangs were bared. Everyone started freaking out but I looked at them in curiousity. "Willa. We can't go to war with the whole town. We'll never find the moonstone if they're on high alert." The familiar guy says. Willa looks at the guy whose name I still haven't learned yet. "I hate it when you're right. Wolves! Stand down." She said and they stood down. "Okay." The guy said. "Sorry. We werewolves just so admire your town, and we just came here to join your school." Willa says and I smirk a bit. This is gonna be interesting.

"What they can't join our school!" Bucky exclaims and I roll my eyes at his statement. "Technically the Forbidden Forest is apart of the school district." Coach says and I grin, Addi starts to drag me in front of the football players. "So welcome to Seabrook!" She exclaims shaking her pom-poms while I give them a small smile. 

(Time Skip)

I was with Zed and Eliza as we were promoting Zed's campaign. "Zed for prez! Vote Zed for prez, because I'm a zombie, not a zom-can't-be." Zed says and I laugh. "Okay, here's our platform. We fight for zombie toppings on pizza in the cafeteria." Eliza says and Zed and I turn to her. "Right." Zed says. "Get zombie tongue taught as a second language!" I exclaim and Eliza and Zed turn to me. "Good." Zed says. "- And how to overthrow your opressors after school club." Eliza says and Zed gives her a look. "Eliza." He says. "Sorry. Right, don't over promise." Eliza says. "But more importantly, we allow zombies at Prawn." Zed says and Eliza and I grin. I nudge Eliza slightly. "Write down the overthrow opressors club." I whisper and we smirk at each other. "Good luck Mr. Future President." Addi says being flirtatious. I laugh at her. "Hey Zed, did you hear? Addie's being tested for cheer captain, and she gets to run cheer practice tomorrow." Bree exclaims and I go up to Addi. "This is a huge deal!" I exclaim and she brushes it off with a smile. "It's not a big deal." She says and Bree and I give her a look. "Okay it's huge!" She says and we laugh. "Wait does that mean I have to-" I ask and Addi smirks at me. I groan and put my forehead on Eliza's shoulder as she pats my head. "I'm going to cheer practice with you tomorrow huh." I say and Addi nods with a smile. "Alright I can live with that." I say with a smile.

I zone out for a while but then my mind goes to the wolf standing next ot Willa. Why is he so familiar? I am taken ot of my thoughts as Addi and Bree grab my arm. We start heading to the library but I stop. "I'll meet you at the library I need to grab my books from my locker." I say and they nod. I am at my locker when the wolves start heading this way. "These sheep just let us in Baaaad idea." Willa says mocking a sheep which makes me laugh slightly. "We agreed to play nice." The guy wolf says. "Oh, this is me being nice." She says raising her hand with claws and scratching the lockers stopping at mine which doesn't make me flinch and they turn to me. "Hi." I say and they just look at me in curiosity. "I'm Waverly nice to meet you guys." The alpha gives a small smile. "Willa." She says pointing to herself. "Wynter." She says pointing to the girl with two buns. "Wyatt." She says pointing to the guy, so that's his name. "Well it's nice to meet you guys and as my sister said before...Welcome to Seabrook." I say with a smile, I close my locker and start walking to the library but I turn back around. "Oh and I love you guys' hair by the way." I say going to the library. I see Addi and Bree at a table and I smile while putting my stuff down on a chair and I start walking down the isles. As I walk down I see Wyatt with a book which was upside down. I laugh slightly and I go to him and flip the book right side up. After I do I give him a smile and he gives an awkward one back. I go and sit down and I start reading one of the books I brought until Willa slams a bunch of history books on the table. "Lies! These books claim werewolves attacked settlers. But they struck first and stole our moonstone." Willa says angrily. "I'm sorry I didn't know." Addi says and Willa turns to her. But before Willa cold say anything I spoke up. "Addi Seabrook lies about a lot of things they said zombies didn't exist, they kept them in the basement, they even said werewolves were legends and here we are." I say and Willa gives me a half smile.

Willa turns back to Addi. "There's a lot you don't know." Willa says grabbing the books and starts to leave but Addi speaks up again. "I know the alarm's going to go off if you don't check out those books." Addi says but Willa throws her necklace into the detector and causes it to malfunction and she goes and grabs it then walks out. "Cool." I say with a grin. "Our necklaces have a way with electronics." Wyatt whispers in my ear which makes my face turn red, the wolves leave but Addi and Bree notice my cherry red face. The aww but I wave them off with a smile. "Ah shh I gotta go help Zed with his campaign." I say standing up grabbing my bag. They nod. "Bye Wave!" They both say. "Bye Addi and Bree." I say smiling at them then I walked out of the library into Zombie Town.

(Time Skip)

I walked up to Eliza, Zed, and Zoey. I picked Zoey up and put her on my hip. "Hey munchkin." I say and she smiles at me. "Hey Waves." She said and I laughed. "So what are we gonna do for your campaign? I ask and Zed and Eliza turn to me. "Win the wolves' vote, win the election. Easy." Zed says and I roll my eyes, I start walking with them towards the Wolves. "Hello wolves, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Zed, zombie, football star, presidential hopeful." Zed says but the wolves give a bored face which makes me laugh. "...Okay." Zed says. "When Zombies came to Seabrook, we were outsiders, too." Zed says and I decide to speak up. "Which is why you need a great president like Zed to represent you." I say and I see Wyatt smiling at me and I grin back at him with Zoey still in my arms. "We'd be if honored if you guys joined us." Eliza says to the wolves. Willa turns us. "Our pack is our pack. We don't need anyone else, so..." Willa says trailing off. Zoey taps my arm and I put her down. "Who doesn't want more friends? Underneath all that hair, I bet you're a real softie." Zoey says and Wynter bends down to Zoey's height. "I am a mean, mean werewolf, kid. I am tough and rough." Wynter says but it doesn't intimidate Zoey. "Aww, you said "ruff." Like a little puppy dog. Ruff, ruff!" Zoey says and I giggle at her. "We are beasts of the forest, we will never be tamed." Wynter says but then Zoey starts scratching behind her ear and well she becomes just like a puppy but soon leans away from her since Willa gives her a look.
