The Saga Of Heartbreak

He: Do you love him?

She: Yes, I think. In some twisted way, once in a while, I think I love him. It could be just pure sympathy for him, but I like to call it love.

He: Why?

She: Because I can't believe that I am stuck in a marriage where I am not myself. I have to change myself to the liking of someone else. I have to live by someone's rules.

He: He loves you?

She: Yes, in his twisted ways. He does. He breaks me every day and calls it love, so yes he does. Also, once he is done giving love to his parents, brother, so-called sister, relatives, any other acquaintances. He does love me with whatever he has left. I am okay with it though.

He: Why?

She: Because I know I can write about the love I need in my stories. I can make that story the way I want so that fictional characters can get the love I crave. I crave that man in my life who knows how to protect my heart. I truly believe when people say that father never breaks his daughter's heart. I think that's true in my case. My dad is the only one who can protect my heart from this cruel world. I don't know how much longer I can wait for a man to come to save me to show me how it feels to be loved. I miss him. I hope he exists and he is there to save me when I am drowning. I hope he makes it soon because I am drowning every day and I don't have anyone to notice that I need to be pulled out. I am so used to plastering smiles on my face that no one notices how broken I have become. I can't fight every day for my basic necessity. I am not strong enough anymore and I need to be saved, but I know this is real life and I can never find the love I want. I can never have him come save me. I have to save myself. However, I can't stop myself from hoping that he will come. He will find me. It can be in another lifetime, another universe, another reality. Can I ask you something?

He: Yes.

She: Can you love someone like that?

He: I think I already do.

He said looking at her with his ear to ear smile... Oblivious to her, he has been in love with her all this time.
