The Conference

The conference hall is full of reporters. Everyone is chattering softly. They are talking about the new book that came out as a bang in the market for every generation.

An announcement has been made that author of the book will arrive soon.

Her sister enters the door followed by her best friend and then her.

She comes with grace and grief in her heart.

Her sister introduced her and she took the charge of the podium. She looked at the camera with the same expression she used to look at him.

A reporter asks her a question, "Can you please talk about the book and how you came up with it?

She says with one painful look at the camera thinking he might be seeing her nationwide interview, "It is a story based on my friends, myself and others I came across. I am not a trained writer. I just liked writing since my teenage years."

Another reporter asks, "Who inspired you to write?"

She looks at her sister and take a sip of water and says with a heart-wrenching pain in her heart," One of my friends did."

She knew it was him who inspired her. It was he who loved her stories, but she decided not to mention his name ever. She cant keep him in trouble.

There is another reporter asks who asks her question, "What is the message given in this book?"

She says calmly, "If you don't get the one you love, your life never stops. Yes, the pain will be there. The pain you won't be able to bear, but you have to for others. Sometimes life is not all about being selfish and living it for yourself. Sometimes it's all about living for your parents, friends and people who care about it. I would like to say this to teenage girls. Girls, life never stops when he leaves you. Nothing stops. You have to live with the pain and please don't kill yourself for a boy. You will find more boys in the future and one of them will actually care for you. Learn how to bear the pain."

The last question asked broke her heart.

"Does your female character in the book ever stopped loving him? You never mentioned that at the end of the book."

She takes another sip of water and waits for her to be clear.

She replies quietly," She never did."

She wipes her tears silently and says, "I never did."
