We have only been together a couple of weeks now, but it feels like a lifetime already. I have dropped my hours back at the bar, thanks to someone taking up all my time now. But that's okay I wouldn't have it any other way. But today's the day shits about to get real.

"Amber you ready?" I yell out coming out of my room. "Hang on!" She screams back at me. Amber has been amazing. I can't believe how strong she has been throughout everything that has happened in her life so far. She is now 12 weeks along, she still isn't showing yet. So she is very happy about that. But she still has a long way to go.

We are going prom dress shopping today as it's only in a couple of weeks. "Is Benson ready?" Amber asks coming out of her room. "Yeah he is don't worry." I say giving her a hug. Benson has also stepped up in Amber's life being a father figure she doesn't have. But it's not like he had much of a choice when he is at our place all the time. I'm proud to call them my family.

We arrive at the first place Amber has picked out. She tries on way to many dresses for Benson's liking. After four more stops much to his discussed we finally arrive at the bar for a feed. "We will start with a garlic bread, and then three of your best steaks, with chips and salad on the sides thanks hun." I say as Scarlet takes our order. "Why so flash?" Amber says looking at us. "Wait are you guys engaged. Omg I knew it! So when's the wedding? Wait are you pregnant is that why it's all happening?" Amber rushes out all at once. "No nothing like that Amber. I have some paperwork here that I've filled out and I just need you to sign it. But only if you want to." I say handing it over to her. Benson squeezes my leg giving me hope. She looks confused, oh no this isn't good. I wanted her to be happy. "Amber I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you." I say reaching out for her hand. "No I. No you didn't. I just don't know what to say. Other then do you have a pen." She says smiling the biggest smile I've ever seen on her face. "So does that mean you guys are going to be my parents?" Amber questions looking between the both of us. "Well yeah." I say trying to hold back my tears.

We head back home Amber heading straight to her room but before she closer her door she pokes her head back out. "Hey is it alright if Blane takes me to school tomorrow?" She says giving us puppy dog eyes. "Yeah of course." We both say at the same time making all of us laugh. Benson grabs my hand leading me to the bedroom. He sits down on the bed patting next to him for me to join. "Yes?" I question him sitting down. "Okay feel free to say no. But I'm going to see Cole tomorrow would you like to come and meet him?" He asks nervously. Wow I don't know what to say. That's a big step for him. Cause he have never actually invited me over to his place. "Of course I wanna meet him. I would love to come." I say leaning in giving him a kiss.

Benson and I arrive at his ex wife's place. It's a small little cottage on the outskirts of the town. A white picket fence wrapped it. Kids toys scattered out the front. We walk up to the front door. Benson reachers up to knock but stops when I speak. "Are you sure about this?" I say feeling my stomach doing flips. He nods grabbing my hand giving it a gentle squeeze. He knocks. You can hear the sound of little feet running around. The door opens

I can't help but stare she is gorgeous her red curly locks hanging lose at her shoulders. Her eyes a shade of green I've never seen before, making her skin glow. I can't help but notice her heavy pregnant belly. "Don't worry it's not mine." He whispers in my ear so only I can hear. "Hey darlin my name is Stevie." She says reaching out for my hand. "Hi I'm Summer." I say nervously shaking her hand. "Oh, well ain't she just a sweet thang." She says to Benson forgetting I'm here.

"Cole ya daddy's here." She yells out. He comes running down the hallway to the front door. Wow he looks just like his mum his red curly hair a mess on top of his head, his green eyes and rosie cheeks. "Dad!" He screams out crashing into Benson.

Stevie and I take a seat on the front porch while the boys play. "He misses his daddy ya know." She says rubbing her swollen tummy. "I can tell. So if you don't mind me asking how far along are you." I ask. "Well my due date was yesterday. But the little thang don't wanna come out." She says laughing.

"Excuse me are you and my daddy in love?" Cole yells out from his sandbox. "Oi boy watch your manners." Stevie says back frowning. "I said Excuse me." He yells back getting annoyed. Benson whispers something in his ear making him look at me and scream. Stevie and I both start laughing at his face. "So darlin do you have any kids?" Stevie questions me. "No." I say sadly remembering my past. "Oh hun I didn't mean to upset ya. What did I say?" She asks reaching out for my hand. "Oh no it's not you. I haven't told him yet but I can't have kids." I say trying to hold back the tears.

"Oh hun I'm so sorry. I always go putting my big foot in." She says now looking worried. "No it's okay. I've been pregnant twice but I lost them both due to complications. But I have an adopted daughter now." I say putting on the fakest smile I can manage. Not wanting to get into the reason why I can't fall pregnant and why I lost the babies. Stevie and I talk for the rest of the day about our lives while the boys played. She seems really nice but it's not like Benson agrees.

"So what were you two talking about?" Benson questions on the car ride home. "Oh you know just girl stuff." I say making him screw his face up. "So I was thinking that maybe we should make it official and move in together." He says looking at me for a second before looking back at the road. "Well you already do live at mine." I say stating the obvious. "No I mean you and Amber move into my place. It's big enough for all of us. So what do you say sugar?" He says smiling to himself at the idea. "I'll talk to Amber but don't you think we are moving to fast?" I ask feeling worried now. "No, but if you don't want to that's okay." He says trying not to sound hurt.

"Sure why not. What's there to lose." I say trying to sound thrilled about it. But the truth is I'm really worried.
