Chapter four: the trial

Bay's POV
It's been a year since I found out about the switch. In a few days the trial to sue the hospital will begin. I always wondered who my father was because when I met regina and Daphne my real father wasnt there. All i had was a name. His name is Angelo. I really want to meet him and see why he left.

Its 7:00 A.M. and im leaving for school. I walk into school and emmett is standing at my locker. I smile at him and sign

"Hey."

"Hey" Emett signed.

We walk to class and out of no where he hold my hand. Which i dont mind but Daphne saw us holding hands. She glared at me and stormed off.

"What was that all about?" I asked and signed

"I think shes jealous. Emmett replies

we get to class and we sit down.

Daphne P.O.V

Why bay? shes a hearing kid emmett hates hearing kids. I'm thinking to myself and i zoned out and the teacher kept signing my name. Emmett taps my shoulder and I sign

"What?"

"The teacher is asking you a question." Emmett signs

Well this is awkward. I think to myself.

* A few days later *

Bays P.O.V

Today is the trial and we see if they will let us sue the hospital. I'm sitting in the court room anxious and bored. The judge calls the verdict
"John and Kathryn kennish will sue the hospital for $1,000,000." The judge says
I start smiling and I look over at daphne.
"What happened?" Daphne signs
"We won the case." I signed back
"That's great." She signed
The trial is over and we head home.
