School dragged on. I, as always, did nothing other than stare anxiously at the clock. All I could hear was tick-tock tick-tock. Yes it annoyed me but it was better than the voices. The continuous voices. That were suddenly silent. Was I scared by their sudden silence? Of course I was. I had no idea what they were doing in the end. But it was nice to have only my voice in my head. The loudness of the school bell made me jump and everyone leapt to their feet, rushing out of the class room. I shrugged and started slowly packing my bag. Thats when I saw him.
It was the one with the chain on his face. The one that lingered last night. The one called Bäėkhyūn. The one that seems....different. He stood at the door. He seemed to give off light even though he didnt. Its hard to explain. He seemed to glow when in fact it was still dark. I sighed. "What do you want now? Ive already been seen by one of you."
"We have decided your task." He said. I looked up, scared. All the 'tasks' they have given me have always ended up with me, an animal or some one I know hurt or dead. "Wasn't last year's task enough?" I snapped at him. "That was not part of the task. What happened was not our fault. You can blame us all you want." He snapped back, his voice sounding way more threatening than mine. I rolled my eyes at him and tried to walk past him.
He shifted to block my passage. "Let me past." I said, my voice low, not looking up at him. "Only if you agree" he replied. "Agree to what? To killing someone else?!" I shouted at him, finally looking up. "Do you think its easy?" I said, glaring at him. "I will say this one last time. We did not want them to be hurt." He hissed. "So what did you want? For me to die instead?" I pushed him and stormed past.
"Stop." He said. "Go away. Go away. Go away. Go away." I started chanting again, to myself. I rushed out of the building and to the busy street. I breathed a sigh of relief and started walking with the crowd. They couldnt appear with this many people where around. Well. They never exactly tried so it was hard to say whether they could or not. I could feel their eyes glaring at the back of my head but I carried on walking, not once looking back.
I walked and walked until I arrived home. At least I thought I arrived home. I found myself looking up at an abandoned house. It was scarily amazing. The beautiful structure seemed to invite me just as much as it was telling me to turn and run. I looked behind me and back forward. I did not recollect ever being here before. It seems long abandoned. I have heard that there was an abandoned house in my city but ive never felt the impulse to go and investigate. Not until now.
I heard shuffling behind me and spun around. Falling to the floor I screamed. Before me stood the scarily quiet one of the monsters in my head. The one that rarely said anything. I scrambled to my feet and turned back towards the house. Three of them stood there. Those were the ones that I knew the names of. Sėhun, Chėn and Bäėkhyun. I looked left and the pink haired and the green-bluehaired ones stood there. I looked right and saw the cat-like one and red-haired leader there. I remembered that there was only one behind me and turned back to the street. Damn. Now there two of them. One really thin and muscled had joined the scary one and was now grinning menacingly at me. All of them were. I had no route of escape. I was stuck. The two on my left, the two and my right and the two now infront instead of behind me started closing in on me. I backed away from them and my breathing sped up, my brain detecting the danger.
I was backed up until I felt some one grab me. I tried to scream but a cloth was placed on my mouth. I vaguely realised that it smelled very strongly while I struggled. My struggling slowed and...
