20-HEARTBREAK

Eunji's POV

"Is Taehyung here yet?" - I asked the guys

"nope, no sign" -jhope

"Okay, gather around. So i will just do the solo performance. The rapline, Rm, suga jhope, you're next. Then Jin and jungkook do the final performance, but if Taehyung would arrive, he can join you. You practiced it together right? So are you okay with this?" - I am trying to encourage everybody, so that we could cpntinue to perform

"We can do this." - Suga

"Hwaiting!"

I'm glad that they are still positive about this.

It's time.

The lights were focused on me and the harmonica started playing.

Taehyung, please be here. I needed this badly.

I finished the performance without his appearance.

Rm, Suga and jhope did it. The bullies did it.

Even your friends, Jin and Jungkook are really good singers. That was the last performance. He did not come.

"Heol everyone did really great today, chukahae" - I told everyone

"thank you very much, y'all take a rest after this and I'll treat you some other time" - I added

"sounds great, after the announcement of winners, I'll head home. I felt like sleeping for 24 hrs. It's exhausting" - Jin said

"jinjja" -jungkook agreed

In a while, Ms. hong announced the scores and guess what, it's a tie.

Both groups did really well, but we got a deduction for an absent member so that made the other team the winner.

It means one thing.

I didn't make it.

This is my only chance to be the top 1, for my scholarship, for me stay, but I didn't make it.

"Eunji" someone caught my attention

Oh he's here, but too late

"What are you doing? it's over." - i answered with disappointment

"look, let me explain" - taehyung

"you don't have to" - i declined to hear his explaination, i mean why would I listen? it can't do anything

"Not because you're rich, popular or you're cute. It's because I've always seen the good in you. I've always believe that you are something else. That time, when you shamelessly reject me infront of everybody? I really wanted to hate you. Believe me, I wanted to hate you, but I can't, because I like you, and I hate that because I still like you. I trusted you. And the other guys. We all worked hard on this, so I believed that atleast it will motivate you to perform. Even if it's not for me. Even if it's for your friends. I badly needed the score for this performance, but on top of that I wanted you to do this and prove to everybody that you're not just some cute, rich guy, but someone who could really do something. I really wish you're here. I have to go" - I explained and gave him a little smile as I walk away

"oh and please tell your friends that you're here, they're really worried sick" - I added and continued walking away

It has been a week. Everyone seems different. They are all getting along really well. The guys are hanging along in the hallway, still singing their piece during the performance.

The girls are quiet, unexpectedly no one's bullying someone. And some are complimenting me with my singing.

It's sad, that when finally things had change, is the time that I have to leave.

I sat on rooftop, trying to convince myself that everything will be fine.

"juice?"

I replied with a fake smile

"you should  sure know how to comfort me huh"-I said

He pat my head with his hands and smiled at me.

"Ya chamkaman." - He stopped me holding my wrist

"Stay, jebal" - he added while starring at me

His eyes are the prettiest thing when he smiles, but it breaks my heart hearing those words from him. Why does he have to beg?

"Mwo? It's not like I'll be gone forever." - I gabbed my wrist and tries to distract myself

"I'll visit here often." - I added and gave him a smile
