iwaizumi x Reader (Oc)

Confession

After the practice match between the other school I couldn't sleep.
'Was it because I talked to the other team without hesitation?.. ' I thought to myself

suddenly iwaizumi's smile appeared in my head.
I felt my cheeks heat up, 'I do not like him!do i? No! He's my best friend I can't have a crush on him... Right? '

I sighed and tried to fall asleep.
The next morning I woke up and got ready for school.

You: "Do I like iwa-kun..? "

I whispered... While I said those words I started to blush.
'Dammit I do have a crush on him... '

I didn't know what to do so I just ran to school trying to get my head off of the subject.

I got to class pretty early so I decided to study for upcoming tests.
After a couple of minutes passed iwaizumi and oikawa came into the classroom.

Oikawa:"Why did you leave so earlyyyy"

Oikawa whined.
I left out a sigh

You:" it's just I have a lot on my mind... Sorry "

You said while trying to break eye contact with iwaizumi.

Iwaizumi placed a hand on your shoulder and left a worried expression on his face.

Iwaizumi:"You can tell us.. What Is on your mind"

I quickly got flustered hearing those words come out of his mouth.

You:"I-its nothing m-much! D-dont worry!"

I tried to shake it off and continue studying.

Iwaizumi and oikawa shrugged it off but the worried expression never left off iwaizumi's face.

I decided to tell oikawa about my feelings towards iwaizumi,,so I wrote a note and gave it to oikawa.

Oikawa took the note and read it.

I knew he finished reading the note once his face beamed brightly.
He quickly wrote a note back.

I took the note and read it...
If you want advice...
     I don't have any,, hehe..
But just try to confess to him!
I'm sure he loves you! I mean he's really protective when I tease you.. :)

I couldn't help but get flustered by the note, I glanced up at oikawa.
Oikawa rested his face on his hand while he looked at me with his tongue out and pointed finger guns at me.

I got flustered even more knowing he tried to tell me 'you'd be a great couple'

I sighed and tried to focus on the class.

//Time skip, lunch break//

I walked to the cafeteria desperately searching for iwaizumi.

I ran up to iwaizumi and hugged him.

Iwaizumi:"W-what is this for? "

He got flustered by the sudden hug

'How do I confess without speaking to him...! '
I thought to myself.

I remembered I made cookies for him.

I took out a white box with a pink ribbon over it to keep it shut.

I bowed and handed it to him.

You:"i-its... F-for.. Y-you! "

I stuttered the words out.

Iwaizumi:"Why are you so nervous around me tomoya-san? Its making me worry that I did something. "

(A/n : Lol sorry for making iwaizumi dense)

You:" J-just take the c-cookies... P-please?.. "

I sad while trying to keep a happy face.

Iwaizumi took the cookies and ate them.

Iwaizumi:"A-amazing! Did you make these?! They are so good!! "

I looked up at him with sparkles in my eyes surprised he likes them.

You:"r-really?! I'm glad you like them! "

I smiled at him heartfully.
He smiled back while crunching on his cookies.

Iwaizumi found a note at the bottom of the box.
It said:
   Meet me at the park today,
I have something important
To tell you...
               After school.
                       Dear, tomoya-san

Remembering what I wrote in the note made me cringe.
'Why does it sound so cocky in my head now! Oh god, oh god, oh god!!'

Iwaizumi looked up at you and nodded that he will be there.
I nodded back.
