KARASUNO HIGH SCHOOL, a fallen powerhouse. The wingless crows or the flightless crows. Everything went downhill for them when their star players left.
Practice was so intense for the players.
"Class, this is Uchida Haruko! She will now be apart of our class so please treat her respectfully." Her teacher said as she guided Haruko to her seat. She didn't get to introduce herself. It was the second day of school so she didn't miss out on much. "You have the rest of the day to explore the school and have fun at clubs. Tomorrow, we'll start learning!"
"What's your name?" She tapped her seatmate's shoulder.
"O-Oh, Ennoshita Chikara." Nobody really ever spoke to Ennoshita. He would usually have to approach them.
"Nice to meet you Ennoshita-san and call me Haruko! Hmm..say, do you know where I can apply for the boy's volleyball team? I kinda wanna be a medic for them." Haruko held up her already filled application papers with a shaky smile.
Ennoshita smiled. "Yeah, I was actually going to apply myself today. We can go together, I guess."
"Awesome let's go!" The two walked our of the classroom and took their journey to the gym as an opportunity to get to know each other better.
"Hey! You two headed to the volleyball club too?" Two other boys stood behind them, application papers in hand too.
Ennoshita and Haruko nodded their heads. "Awesome! I'm Tanaka Ryuunosuke and this is Nishinoya Yuu!"
"Oh nice to meet you guys! The name is Uchida Haruko but feel free to call be by my first name!"
"Ennoshita Chikara." The four happily chatted together on their way to gym.
"You applying to be the manager Haruko-chan?" Nishinoya asked.
Haruko hummed. "Not really, I'm hoping to be the medic since the nurse isn't always gonna be available and just looking at you guys, I see a lot of injuries in the near future." Ennoshita laughed at her statement.
"Is that an insult?"
"I don't know bro."

"State your name and what why you're here." The old man said. Haruko identified him as the infamous Coach Ukai.
Haruko stepped up first. "Uchida Haruko! Applying for the medic spot!" She handed him the papers which contained of her experience and knowledge on medical care.
"I'll take it, welcome to the club. Next!" The coach shouted as he finished skimming through the papers. Haruko quickly turned around to flash a peace sign to her fellow first years and walked off to the other female in the gym.
"Hi! I'm Uchida Haruko, feel free to call me Haruko though. I'm your new medic!" The black haired grinned.
The team's manager gave her a soft smile. "Shimizu Kiyoko, but call me Kiyoko if you would like to. It'll be nice to have some help around here finally. I'll introduce you to the other members."
"Oh thank you."
"This is Uchida Haruko, she's our new medic." The light green eyed girl waved at the small group.
"I'm Sawamura Daichi but call me Daichi." Daichi introduced himself. "This is Sugawara Koushi and Azumane Asahi." He introduced his two other friends too.
"Oh, call me Haruko! I prefer it over my last name." She quickly added.
"It'll be nice to have you here." Sugawara gave her a smile. "Oh and don't mind Asahi-san here. He's kinda shy around new people."
"BOYS! Listen up, these are our new additions to the team. Introduce yourselves." Haruko walked over to where the coach was standing.
"Uchida Haruko! First year, class 1-4! I'm your new medic."
"Ennoshita Chikara. First year class 1-4."
"Tanaka Ryuunosuke, class 1-1!"
"Nishinoya Yuu. Class 1-3."
"Kinoshita Hisahi..class 1-2."
"Narita Kazuhito, class 1-4." Narita was in their class? She didn't even see him.
"This is gr- Coach?" Everybody's attention turned to the old man. He had fallen to the ground, holding his chest. "Somebody call the ambulance!"
"Already on it." Kiyoko had a phone next to her ear, speaking calmly.

At the end, Ukai ended up retiring. The stress would be too much for him but he promised to help out if he could.
"Hey love? Can you take over while I get some groceries?" Her mother called out from the cashier.
"Of course!"
"Thank you!" Haruko sat on the stool behind the counter and waited for people to enter. Hopefully, there would be customers and it would take her mind off things.
The bell above the door rang as someone entered. He had light brown hair and swishy bangs.
"Welcome!" Haruko greeted him with a smile. He was wearing a blue and white tracksuit. "You play volleyball?"
"Oh y-yeah..I'm apart of Aoba Johsai's volleyball team."
"That's cool, I'm a medic for Karasuno's volleyball team. I stopped playing volleyball though." She smiled. "O-Oh right sorry, I'm Uchida Haruko, first year at Karasuno High School. Call me Haruko though."
The boy smiled back. "Yahaba Shigeru, first year at Aoba Johsai."
The two connected eyes. "Soo, what can I get for you?"
"A box of cream puffs, please. One of the second years wanted a box but he got held back." Haruko reached under the counter and pulled out a box. She wrote something on a piece of paper and handed it to him. Yahaba placed the correct amount of yen needed on the tray and waved goodbye.
He turned the paper over and saw a bunch of numbers on the paper. He smiled to himself as he took out his phone.
