MI7 KILLING ROMANCE

CHAPTER 2 FIRST DAY OF WORK

STEVE'S P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off i looked at it the time was 8:45 "fuck how did i oversleep" i shouted to myself i quickly got out got ready checked the time again it was 9:10 i had five minutes before the 9:15 bus arrives i was in such a hurry that i forgot to turn off the toaster

When i got to the bus stop which is a little bit far from my apartment then i saw it coming across the street i got in sat down went. Outside cars were just never stopping school buses were filled with children going to school so this is the busy streets of new york i told myself

I originally lived in Texas but after the graduation MI7 wanted the new agents near biggest cities so that they can keep an eye on us everyone of the agents that graduated lives in major cities

But they said they wanted me to be here so i had to fucking shift here which was not hard since i live alone i had no problem

After a few minutes i reached the address which was a old library as i went inside it was kind of stylish with leather sofas wooden tables and rows,rows of books

There were only about 17 people 8 were a group of elderly men reading and 4 girls using their laptops while 5 middle aged ladies in a book club

Then a voice said 'can i help you sir' i turned around to see a beautiful girl wearing glasses and behind them were 2 green eyes she was holding books

Not knowing what to do i just said the codeword

The lightning has been striking again

She looked at me staring up and down thinking i was crazy when she said follow me i did just that

She lead me to the back door of the library which she opened it lead us to a pile of books she then locked the door and said you're late

Sorry i woke up late i said

Ok she then opened a panel punched a few numbers and said might you might wanna brace yourself as if on cue the ground felt as if it was falling then i realized this is a elevator

The elevator was starting to pick up speed i felt like i was gonna throw up when i finally reached the end

As i got out i saw a old lady sitting on her desk she looked at me i saw her name on her badge which read MAY STERLING she asked me name i told her Steve kings she looked at me again and said oh right away she stood up and started escorting me when we got to another elevator i looked a little pit pale just after my first trip without looking may just said dont worry this isn't like the last one

We got in and she pressed F5 and the elvator slowly started going down from G FLOOR when we reached FLOOR 5 or F5 for short (not the wwe BEAST INCARNET BROCK LESNAR F5) i imagined the floor to look like a normal office with cubical and people sitting infront of computers or some near the break room but some of my expectations were a reality while some weren't there were people who are sitting in front of computer screen but not in cubical but in glass cubical and some people were near the break room

May took me to my cubical as soon as i entered there was a expensive looking computer and CPU with a silk chair and some sofas mr king if you need anything dont hesitate to call me i looked at her and are u a miss or mrs sterling she looked at me and said a miss alas old age has caused me to lose my youth and beauty me a 60 year old woman i guess i should retire im not getting any younger i then took her hand and kissed it saying you dont look a day over 25 miss sterling

I then looked around again and said so this is all mine yes and you're also free to put any thing else if you choose to do so MI7 will pay for it she said

After that she left i put my bag down and took out my phone a iphone 8 and the charger plugged it 65%

then on my computer and typed my pass word which was vas vedania to go through the files and see my "to do list" which composed of a few things such as reports of other agencies agents,police and some other things

working in MI7 isn't all just reports but assassination missions spy missions and a heavy pay which is 5 million a month

but the assassins are paid the most with 100k per kill
there is this place which they call themselves LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS thats the most feared and respected company in the world MI7 operates in secret while they operate both in secret and public they got a hell lot of skilled assassins especially my hero RA'S AL GHAUL the founder and head also the C.E.O of the L.O.A (short form of LEAGUE OF ASSASSINS)

i worked for a few hours untill i looked at my watch 1:45 i than went out for lunch they had a cafeteria here i took a tray walked to a fast food section and took large chilli fries large pepsi with chilled ice and some BBQ chicken and looked for a place to sit

there were about 27 people here 15 men and 12 women i didn't recognise any of them then i heard a voice which i knew all to well my best friend "ANTONIO SYLVESTER" A MEXICAN man 5 months older than me he's currently in the weapons research and development

was up Stephen king when ever we meet he jokingly calls me Stephen king than i laughed and said ah the roofs up and I'm all to well slyvester Stallone he than had a look on his face telling me he's pissed than started laughing

we found a seat on the corner and started eating well the fries and chicken was for him the pepsi on the other hand was mine

we sat and talked untill 2:30 he went back to his office while i went back to mine

on the way back i accidentally bumped into someone who then shouted sayingwatch where your going asshole it was a girl i said sorry and started walking away than i though i saw it again that girl with brown and blue eyes as i turned around to see her she was gone i turned thinking it was my imagination

i left for home at 6:00 sharp

as i entered my apartment i smelt something burning then i remembered the toaster it was dark burnt black i threw it in the trash can i hit the hay thinking of trying to find who that two-coloured eye girl was before falling asleep
