The boy goes on another hike into the forest, holding a yellow bag. He was meeting up with a friend of his. Unfortunately, she could never visit him. So he'd always had to take the initiative whenever he wanted to see her. Once he finally reached to a bench, he smiled, seeing his dear pal still staying where she was.

"Hey." He says, grabbing her attention. She smiled when she saw him, too. "Oh, hi!" He sits next the nymph he called his buddy. Not that her being a nymph was a bad thing. The boy lifts his yellow bag. "I gotcha somethin'." He says. And from there, he takes out a sandwich, then takes out another one made for himself. He hands her one. Her eyes light up when he gifts her the food.

"Thank you. I was starving." The boy chuckles as he eats. "I supposed so. I would be too if I was in your position." He kept chuckling a little, but the girl's face lowers down. Soon her smile vanishes. The boy noticed this and looks at his friend, despite her trying to cover it up by eating as well. "Is everything alright?" She sighs and says something after a few seconds of silence. "I just wish I was able to do more with you. I wish I could play actual games with you. I know it's a pain, being friends with someone like----" He interrupts her. "Who said you were a pain? I don't think you are."

"But I'm stuck to this very spot, all the time. Don't you ever get tired to being here a whole lot?" The boy shakes his head. "No." The girl tilts her head. "You don't?" The boy did the same. "Of course not. You're sweet, kind, and funny. You're amazing to talk to. I can't imagine a better pal." The girl turns her head, still having it dropped a tad. "I just wish I could be normal." She says.

Once the boy finished his sandwich, he grasps her hand. " You're my best friend. I don't care if you're a skeleton, a unicorn, a blob of slime, or anything else. Just as long as you're the awesome person you are now, I don't care what you are." He holds her hand a little tighter. "Don't ever talk bad about my friend like that, okay?" She nods. "I'm sorry." She says in a melancholic tone.

He shakes his head again. "No, I'm sorry. I should've been more sensitive about this. I know as a nymph, you can't leave here. I should've taken more account to that. Forgive me?" She smiles at him, nods, and then hugs him. "Thank you." This time she shakes her head. "No, thank you...for being the best friend I have."
