As for Her father, he broke her heart before it even got the change to fully grow...He proceeds to shatter the pieces that he created and she continues to cut her hands on the shards as she tries to put her heart together again
When she finally gets most of the pieces together, he smashes her work once more...leaving her to collect the pieces and cut her already bruised hands
