Chapter 3

      *Brookes P.O.V*

As I followed Box down the stairs to the rhino, I heard Jesse ans Maxi talking about me.Was that a good thing? I sighed to myself.

The morning went by quick, I suddenly heard Maxi say over the radio, "Box,Brooke come up now,lunch."

When me and box reached the tower, I walked up to see where I was next. Suddenly to see a black texter scribbling out Maxi's name and has Jesse's name. I didn't mind though as I kind of liked Jesse, okay, maybe more then a little.

Jesse went to answer the for to a young couple when Maxi suddenly turned towards me and said "so, who are you crushing on?"

I looked down to the floor blushing and replied, "no one"

I think Maxi got the hint that I did like someone.

Lunch break was over so Jesse and I headed Down to patrol the flags.

"So where about do you live?" He said a bit creepily. "I'm not a stalker promise" he laughed.

I bit my lip (as I was nervous) and replied, "Bronte, you?"

"Maroubra" he laughed."I grew up there as a kid."

"Hah, interesting.." I replied

"So, what made you wanna become a lifeguard?"

"Well I always watched Bondi rescue and something just made me try for it" I smiled.

"Was It me" he said jokingly.

         *Jesse's P.O.V*

I suddenly said heaps of things that made me sound creepy. Its just nervous I whispered to myself. Soon I got o know a bit more about her and it was time to go home. I wanted her to come home with me but I didn't know how she felt.

        *Brooke's P.O.V*

As we were going home I noticed Jesse struggle with words.

"Uhh, are you okay?"

"Yeah thanks, umm, would you like to hang sometime?"

In shock I stood there. Jesse polock wanting to hang out with me!!! I went from a crazy fan girl (yet I still am) to a girl hanging out with the person i most adore.

Sure, I'll text you later" I smiled and walked to my car.
