They say that the hardest thing in life is to forgive the ones that hurt you; and, it is. I should know because I've been hurt before. The seasons change and life goes on and you stay hurt, just being tagged along. I haven't found all the pieces to my broken heart, but a few have been restored. If it wasn't for my wonderful boyfriend, I don't think that I would have made it through anything this year. He picked me up in my time of need. He's restored me in many ways and I don't think that I can ever thank him for that.
I'm in class right now, taking my mid-term test for Harvard University. The only thing on my mind is Jason his good looks and charming smile, I know that if I don't get him out if my head I will fail this test. So for an hour I don't think about him and take my test. When I'm done I hand my test to my professor and head straight to my car. I have nothing to do today and Jason is at work so, I think I'll catch up with my friends that I haven't talked to in forever.
I dialed my best friend Lily's number.
She answers by saying, "Look who finally called me and it only took her 3 months."
I say, "I know it seems like forever,"
She says, "You have nothing to do and Jason is at work right."
I say,"Guilty."
She says, "Okay we can hang, only if you promise to hang out with me more often."
I say,"I promise."
She says,"We'll meet at Ruby Tuesday and make plans from then on."
I say, "Okay."
She says, "Bye and you better not be late either."
I say as I hang up,"Bye." I lay my phone in the glove department and start my car.
I put my car in reverse then put it in drive;and, head towards Ruby Tuesday.
I just wonder how Lily looks now she used to be this little pale sweet girl I wonder has she changed we haven't seen each other since we graduated from high school.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If your wondering, my life got messed up the after graduation; my high school sweet heart, hurt me in many ways and the scars still remain.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------When I pull up, I see Lily's same car; that beautiful white, dodge charger.
I open the door and that dig sound rings from the bell. I laugh because that sound always cranks me up for some unknown reason. Since I was little that's all I did when I heard that sound.
I look around and look for Lily who to my suprise was sitting in the very back looking at me like I was weird. As I sit down I say, "Look who never grew."
Lily says, "I know and look who never grew either."
I say, "I did grow in many ways, that you will never know."
Lily says, "Oh.Really."
I say, "Ya."
We talk for like an hour and get back to the way we used to be; two peas in a pod.
