"I'm back!" Jaemin yells as, kicking off his shoes as he enters his house.

"About time you came back" the small boy with blonde hair states, placing a plate full of food on the table. "Thanks to you I had to prepare this meal all by myself!"

"Sorry Renjun, I'll come faster next time" Jaemin responds, hugging Renjun's side while placing his head on his shoulder.

Renjun sighs and pushes Jaemin away. "Just call the kids over"
Jaemin smiles happily, knowing his effect on Renjun.

"JENNOO JISUNGG CHENLEE TIME FOR DINNER!!" He yells, summoning the figures to come out of their rooms.

He nods in approval and his eyebrows clashes together, noticing one missing. "Renjun, where's Jeno?"

"Taeyong hyung called him. I think he's giving another mission or something" Renjun explains, taking a seat down onto the table.

"Oh yeah. How is your mission coming along? You think your plans working?"

Jaemin shakes his head. "I think they really impacted him a lot. No matter how hard I try he doesn't seem to break the wall he built."

"Did something happen hyung? Why do you seem so down?" Jisung asks and Jaemin just sends him a small smile.

"It's just... something he said made me feel sad for him. He isn't a mean guy but I just feel like he's scared to bring someone new into his life again"

"I wonder what happened between them..." Renjun mumbles as he takes a bite of the food.

"I heard from Mark hyung that Donghyuk took their action out of context. Apparently everything was bad timing but when I tried to ask what they did he just stayed silent" Chenle replies, sipping on his drink innocently.

"I mean.. we do kill people.." Jisung says softly only for Renjun to state, "bad people. We don't kill the innocent"

Jaemin just stays silent as Donghyuk's words kept on swimming inside his head.

I wouldn't think you want to be friends with a monster like me.

Donghyuk smiles sotfly as he watches the cat eat the food he left infront of it.

"So you know how to smile" His smile immediately drops. Knowing the owner of the voice.

The figure crouches down next to him, patting the cat. "I guess you didn't change fully after all"

Donghyuk stands up and walks away only to get stopped by the figure gripping his wrist. "Why run away? Do you really think that's going to get rid of me?"

"What's it to you. We have no relation with each other anymore" he states with his back facing the figure.

"Haechan..."

His heart pounds as he hears his 'name'.

"Sorry, you got the wrong person. I'm not Haechan"

"Haechan.. it's Mark! You're best friend"

"I never had a friend called Mark as well.. you really got the wrong person" Donghyuk says, taking his wrist out of Mark's grip and walks away.

He purses his lip, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall out eversince he saw Mark's face.

He missed him. He really did. But he just couldn't see Mark the same way anymore.

Next Day -- School
Tapping his fingers against the table he bobs his head to the beat, ignoring the outside world.

He loves music. It's his only source of escape from this cruel reality. The reality  that just seems to love making his life more miserable.

The classroom door slides open and everyone stops talking as Taeyong walks in the classroom.

"Alright guys, sorry for the late arrival. I have a new student that will be joining our class today. Would you like to introduce yourself to everyone?"

"Hi, my name is Jeno Lee and I'm really excited to be in your class"

"Jeno you can go sit next to Donghyuk. Donghyuk can you raise your hand please?" Taeyong asks.

Donghyuk raises his hand and puts it down after a second. Jeno makes his way to the table and takes a seat next to his.

"Oh wow, do you like Michael Jackson?" Jeno asks, pointing to Donghyuk's phone.

"What's it to you?"

"Nothing, I was just wondering" Jeno responds, sending an adorable eye smile and paying attention to the teacher.

Donghyuk's eyebrows meet each other. He sure wasn't expecting that kind of response from him.

Normally people get offended because of his cold delima. This was kind of new for him.

Guess Jeno is something else...
