A TWISTED LIFE

My life is awesome, that's what Anne always think when she woke up in the morning. It's monday morning and Anne is in her room preparing herself for school. " My lady, are you done? You'll be late for school", her maid said. " I'm alomost done", she replied while fixing her hair.

She arrived at school riding her limo. "Hi! Anne, did you finish our homework?" Curt said (her bestfriend). "Ofcourse I finished them, You know me I don't want to miss any point of my grade", she said with a flirty tone. She continued walking leaving her bestfriend behind. While Curt, just looked at her in agony.

"Hi! girlfriends!!", Anne addressed to her popular friends. "Hi!..OMG!! look at my new channel bag, my mom just bought it from Europe", Cheska said, referring to the white whith diamonds and gold sling bag. "My mom bought me a bracelet too from Singapore" Megan said referring to her gold with heart diamond pendant bracelet. "How about you Anne?" Cheska asked. " My mom didn't bought me a bag nor a bracelet, but........ she bought me a New  Car" Anne replied with a smirk. "Oh!! really,, what car? can we see, where is it?!!" her friends said excitedly. "Oh, I'm sorry, it's not yet here. It's still in the shop because I want it to be personalized.", she said.

Before their class ended, she recieved a text from Curt stating:

                                      Meet you at the old tree house after class.

                                       There's something I want to say.

                                                     I'll be expecting you.

After class, she directly went to the tree house. When she arrived , she saw Curt sitting. He seems to be bothered by something. " Well, I'm here. What is that thing you want to talk about? Is there a problem?" she asked. "I know we've been friends for quite so long,... and I......" he was cut by a phone call. "Excuse me." she said. Curt just nodded with dissapointment in his face.

After the phone call, Alice approached Curt with a big smile and excitement. "Guess what?" she said. "What?", he replied. "I'ts Ben. And he wants me to go to his victory party ! For winning the football game". "Ohh good for you. I forgot I have to do something. I'll go ahead".he said, then started walking. "What about the thing you want to say?".Anne asked. "Forget about it, it's useless." he replied, then whispered "There's no chance" and left.

Everyone were having fun. Alcohols were eveywhere. From vodka to rum to tequila to gin.Music was so loud and  people were dancing .Lights were deemed. Some are singing and some are drunk.

Anne was about to get a drink when Curt bardged in, "Anne...... there's something you need to know", Curt said with teary eyes. "What is it?", she asked. " Your parents.......they're...... .. in the hospital", he said with tears falling from his eyes. "What are you talking about?. It's not a good joke". she said nervously.'It's not. I'm serious,you need to go now.Come on". he  said, then they rushed to the hospital.

 When she arrived in the hospital, she saw two bodies covered with white cloth. She took a peek and saw her parents, then she cried. After an hour, she's still remained in the morgue crying then Curt approached he and tried to stop her crying. 'I'm just here, if you need me,"he said while tapping her back. "What am i gonna do now?", she asked. "They say you've got to talk to your attorney about the will and testaments.  

Her attorney came with more bad news to her. "I'm sorry about your lost." the attorney said. She just nodded. "I'm sorry but theres a problem about the will. It says you can only get your shares when turned eighteen". "Why? What will happen to me in two years?", she asked. "You still have 1,000,000 dollars at the bank. You can use it besides, your tuition fee is fully paid", the attorney replied.

Months passed by as her milion  became thousands to hundreds until she was bankrupt. She lost  her maids, buttler, guards and begun selling her limousines. All that's left is her house and the pink ferrari that was given by her mother. Her friends started ignoring her because she can't live up with their standards. The only friend left is Curt, her bestriend.

"What am I gonna do with the electricity bills? the water? the credit cards I used for shopping?", Anne complained. "I think you should learn  to save money", Curt advised. "But how?", she asked. "What if you look for a job", Curt suggested. "What? You expect me to do that? Are you serious?", she reacted. "But that's the only way to solve your problem.You don't have a choice", he said. "I don't know how to find a job." she said. "Don'y worry I'll help you", he replied. "Thanks. I don't know what to do if you were not here", she said the hugged him.

A day later, they started looking for a job in the newspaper that would fit Anne. "What about office worker?", Curt suggested. "I'm still sixteen you know", she replied. "A call center agent?", he said. "My time won't fit.Hello? I still have classes.", she said. "Ahuh!! a waitress? I think you have a background with that because you used to eat in a fine dining retaurant".Curt said with a smile. "You're right!! I think that's a perfect job for me", she agreed.

She started working a week later. She realized how difficult it is to work  hard with small payment. And she started to learn how to budget money. Curt was really a big help for her because without him she would'nt know what to do. Curt also taught her how to wash the dishes and her clothes.At first it was so hard for her to do it  but eventually she learned to do it by herself. Even if she's having a part time job she still maintained her good grades.

 Eventually she graduated as the class valedectorian. Now she's eighteen and she can take the shares from their company. Now she's in college taking Bussiness AD. so that she can manage her own company. And even if she got the shares she still works in the company as a trainee. 

Years passed she graduated college and started to manage her father's company.She have closed many deals with other investors. And behind these success is the inspiration brought by her  parents and Curt.

Curt had been courting  her for the past few months. And eventually she said YES. Now she's living her life with a wonderful husband and a nice career.

With her experiences in life she learned to be independent and to mature.She also learned the value of money and how to use it wisely.She also learned about hardwork and how to appreciate things that she have in life.

            "Life is about ups and downs.And it's up to you on how you will conquer the twist of life."
