You don't really remember when it started, but you and Reon had been friends since a very young age and, currently in highschool, were still very close.

He had always been there for you, being the softie and kind person he was, causing you do develop a big sense of attachment towards him.

Seeing each other grow up, you were able to witness how his body, voice and behavior changed, while he did the same with you.

You hated that it was so cliché, but without realising it you had developed a huge crush on the boy, and only noticed it when he joined the volleyball team and girls started hanging around him: at first you thought you were just trying to protect him and avoid other teenage girls breaking his heart, but soon acknowledged that there was way more than that.

What to do, anyway? Your friendship was too beautiful to just wreck it down with a confession, so you had no choice but to keep your feelings for yourself.

Walking to school, you were lost in your thoughts when a familiar hand landed on your shoulder.

"Ohira-kun, good morning" you said trying to fake a smile. Little did you know, he knows you too well.

"Y/n-chan, everything alright?" he said smiling so softly you could have melted right then and there.

"Sure, just a bit tired I guess"

"Okay, I'll believe it" he smirked, but instantly got more serious.

"Ne, y/n-chan, I have a weird favour to ask you, please don't think I'm a freak or something" he began blushing "it's just, you're the only one I can ask this to right now"

You were kinda nervous to hear his request, but nodded anyway as to signal to go on and ask.

"There's a girl I really like, and, uhm- well I can't really, how to explain thi-"

That was it.

There's a girl he really likes.. your heart shrunk.

You knew damn well this day was going to come now or later, but you never wanted to believe it, as in hope it would never happen.

Your eyes were teary, but you couldn't afford to cry in front of him, especially in this situation, so you gathered up all your strength.

"Enough with the stuttering you dummy, just ask the question" you thanked any god who was holding your tears back for you and giving you acting skills right now.

"It's kind of embarrassing to say but, I've never kissed anyone before, so... I was wondering if, you know, you could teach me? Gosh I sound so stupid, you can slap me if you want"

"For real? Thank you so much y/n, I appreciate it" here he was, back at ir again, with that smile.

Your heart ached, but at this point you didn't even care anymore, you just wanted the last taste of him before he was stolen by someone else.
