Wait how does this work again? I think to myself as I try to work to coffee machine. “I know you’re still trying to use the machine” my elder brother enters the kitchen chuckling. “Then get your butt over here and help me!” I yell at him. “Okay okay no need to shout” he says dismissing me as he works it for me. “Tch…stupid big brother “ I mutter. “I heard that” he says. “I know, you were supposed to” I say sticking my tongue out at him as I run away.
“Let me guess…she still can’t use it?” my twin brother Zane asked. “Of course she can’t, I mean it is Zara we’re talking about here”. Ethan said. “Yeah yeah what ever…is my coffee done yet?”I asked getting impatient. “Yes child it is” Ethan said while ruffling my hair and handing me my coffee. “Child?! I’m not a child you’re the old man here” I said trying to fix my hair. “Old? I’m only 22” he says frowning. “Exactly…old” I said grabbing my backpack and car keys while heading out the door. “Uh Zane” “Yeah?” “You know we have school right?” “Dammit” I laugh at him as he grabs his school things and heads towards his bike.
Schools sucks I think to myself as I approach the school parking lot. As I park my car Zane arrives and parks beside me. “Lets do this sis…we only have 11 months left for school “ he tries to reassure me. “This is the beginning of our senior year and I’m already tired” I say while heading towards the door with Zane.
“Yo!!!!!” I cringe as I hear my one and only best friend’s voice from the other end of the hallway. “Ugh, really Sam? I don’t think Asia heard you yet.” I say while rubbing my ears. “But you still love me” she says while practically suffocating me with her hug. “I’m starting to regret that decision…and I can’t breathe” I say trying to be free from her clutches. She looks behind me and she lights up almost instantly. “Hey Zane , what’s up? ” “I’m alright…muffin”he says as he runs away laughing. “Ugh I told him to stop calling me that” she mutters while crossing her arms. “Well you had to be obsessed with muffins as a child didn’t you?” I say as we head to class. “Shut up” she slaps my arm. “Violent much?” I say laughing.
"Yeah yeah let's head to class... what's your first period?" She asks. "Uh...its English" I tell her as I bring out my schedule. "Seems like I got lucky, my subjects this year have no calculus or algebra" I say as I dance goofily around her. "Yeah we get,oh ye lucky one,now stop looking like a fool and let's head to class" she says pulling

Why can't I manipulate time? Ugh why did we get to have Mrs Smith for Literature this semester? I mean I love the woman but she can be a tad boring. The universe decides to be on my side as the bell rings signifying lunch time. I practically sprint to my locker to dump my books there. I bump into my brother as I turn to head towards the cafeteria. "Yes! I've been looking for you!" I yell. "By looking for me you mean dropping your books and heading for lunch without me?" He says. "Ding ding ding, we have a winnerrr!!!" I smile sheepishly at him. "You know the drill" I say grinning. " Ugh you're lucky I love you" he says turning with his back facing me as he bends to give me a piggy back ride. "To infinity and beyond!!!" I say in my best Buzz lightyear voice. Zane laughs as he runs down the hallway.
"Z I could practically hear your voice from here, I mean buzz lightyear really?" Sam says teasing me. "Hey I love cartoons okay?" I say snapping my fingers snappily. "Uh spoilt princess spotted at three o'clock". 'Spoilt princess' is a code Sam and I came up with to let us know when Elara Williams the 'queen bee' is heading our way. Let me tell you that that codename has helped us in so many ways.
"Hi Zana" Elara says snottily trying to piss me off. "Hi Bianca" I reply with the biggest fake smile known to mankind.
