Chapter 1

"Margot!!" My best friend, Sarah yells at me. She's wearing everything she owned One Direction related. Saturdays are usually her either fangirl days/nights or hang out with friends and party days. Today was obviously the earlier one.

"What?!" I scream at her as I wake up to my gray room with posters of Glee, Train, and the Jonas Brothers.

"It's 9:55!" She yells at me again. I frantically look at the blulky alarm clock on my small, metal bedside table that also held a vase of flowers.

"So?... It's Saturday. Now let me go back to sleep." I tell her groggily as I fall back into my bed and pull the purple and blue covers up over my head.

"Don't you have work at 10 today?" She says trying to pull the covers off of me.

"No that's on Saturday." She stands where she is, towering over me. She looks at me like I'm a crazy person. What the hell did I do to deserve this on a weekend morning. Then it clicked.

"Oh shit!" I say as I tried to jump out, but my comforter got tangled in my legs, making me fall on my ass. "Why didn't you wake me up earlier?!" I yell at her as I get up off the floor, and going into the bathroom to get changed.

"I was out jogging in Central Park!"

"You could have called!" I say racing into the bathroom.

"Yeah like you would have picked up. You sleep like a lumberjack." I pulled my hair into a messy bun and put on my black uniform. I run out of the bathroom, grab my purse and keys and fling open to door. "I do NOT sleep like that!" I yell at her,"Talk you later!" In a happy mood.

Once I get into the hallway, I race towards the stairwell. We live on the 7th floor of our dorm building, so by the time I get down to the ground floor, I'm out of breath.

I'm not a normal college student with a job on campus. No, I have a job all the way on the other side of town. At least a five minute sub ride and a 20 minute walk, to the small coffee shop, café place. It's quaint, but most of my time I spend time doing my homework.

I run down the street to the nearest subway station. Rushing down the stairs, I see the last train for the 9'o'clock hour hour leave.

"Don't worry love, the next train will be here at 10:03," a strange boy tells. I think he was an exchange student, because he had an Irish accent. His blond hair tossled the right way was interesting. His bright blue eyes meet my ugly light grey ones."I can wait with you if you would like," he said making me fall for him.

"No, I'll just run across town. At least I have I have comfortable shoes on," I reply sarcastically.

"Ok, you do that, love."

"Ugh," I say before leaving him, going up the same stairs I had just ran down.

I wish I could call a cab, but alas I have no money or time in the New York City traffic for a cab ride. So I run a few blocks. By the time I start my fourth block, I'm huffing and puffing like I was going to blow a house down, so I start to walk.

I start to walk, when I see enough metal barriers to hold back the entire New Year's Eve crowd. I look down the street more and I see the Today Show's stage. "That explains a lot," I say to myself. I walk another block so I can avoid any struggles as I try to investigate who was having a concert today. Hey, I was already late, what would another 20 minutes be?

Now I start towards the stage. I walk a few blocks. "How far is this stage?" I ask myself. I keep walking, looking around, trying to figure out where the stupid stage was. When suddenly I walk right into somebody. You would think I would have seen him since there's no one on the street, sidewalk, or in the shops.
