Elsa's POV
3 Months Later
I walk through my front door and plop down on my couch. Winter break. It's been three months since school started and things have been going suprisingly good for me. People finally got it in their thick heads that I'm smart. Once they saw me get a couple A's, some kids were literally begging me to tutor them. I'm actually waiting for one of my least productive students, Hans Westergaurd.
When I started tutoring him, he got straight D's. And he still is. And I've figured out why.
He won't stop staring at me.
I hear a knock on the door and get up to let Hans in.
"Hi Hans. Come on in."
"Okay beautiful," he said in a seductive tone. Did I mention that he's been trying to get me to make out with him for the past 3 months? No? Well, he has.
I sat there for 30 minutes trying to explain plain geometry, but it was no use. I realized around November he was a lost cause.
He paid me and was about to leave when my younger sister, Anna, walked in.
"Hi Elsa!" She blurted. "Who's this?"
"This is Hans. I was tutoring him and he's leaving now." I turned and tried to push him out the door. I am getting him out of my house. Since Anna os in the 7th grade, she doesn't know that Hans is a huge player.
"So," He started. "My folks are gonna be out of town for New Year's and I'm throwing a party. You two wanna come?"
Anna replied first. "Sorry, I can't. I was already invited to a party at my friend Emma's house. But Elsa can."
It's times like these when I hate my sister. Well, if I'm going down, I'm taking someone else with me.
"Ok, I'll come. Can I bring a friend?"
Hans didn't seem to like that. But he knew it was the only way I was coming.
"Fine. Starts at eight. You know where I live. See you then." And with that he left.
"So," Anna began. "I guess you're gonna take Jackson?"
"Yep."
"You think he's gonna say yes?"
"Yep."
"And if he doesn't, you're gonna force him?"
"Yep."
"Seems legit."
Jackson's POV
I hate life. Since school started my dad has been getting even more drunk, the bullies are getting more violent, and Elsa is so busy with tutoring, I hardly see her anymore.
Back to the bullies. It's gotten really bad. Don't believe me? Here's an example. Last month, Pitch and this other guy named Hans got me cornered in a classroom and BROKE MY FRICKING TOE! I just got off the crutches. The worst part is, I keep lying to Emma so she won't get upset. Trust me, I'm doing you all a favor. You do not want to see my sister when she's angry.
Then I get a text from Elsa.
E - Hey so im being forced to go to hans new years eve party thx to anna :'( wanna come with so itll b less lame?
Of course she had to be invited to Hans's party. The guy WHO BROKE MY TOE!! Wait. Did she say so it'll be less lame? Am I getting out of the friend zone? Whoa, calm the wishful thinking Jackson.
J - Sure. Wat time u want me to pock u up?
E - 6:30 c u then ;)
And with that, my mouth fell open.
