Chapter 14|| Nekoma

Kenma POV
It was night I had just dropped Akaashi off. I was sitting in the car outside of the house. To be honest I was still kinda upset about everything. I need to forget about it. I got out and walked up to the door unlocking it and walking in. I took off my shoes and sighed "Kenma is that you" "No I'm robbing you" Kurro laughed as he walked down the stairs "I missed you" "Did you really" I walked over to the stairs "Yes I did" I rolled my eyes and started walking upstairs when suddenly Kurro grabbed my arm "Do you need something" I asked "Nah I was just gonna tell you I love you" He smiled. I blushed and held his hand "I'm tired and I have to get up early for Suga tomorrow so I'll be leaving first" "What does he need" "I can't say. All I know is we are escorting someone" we both walked upstairs "Did you eat today" Kurro asked "Yea Akaashi and I were out when we got the call" he nodded "How is it working with Oikawa" "Entertaining to say the least. He's kinda funny. More or less self righteous. He has potential" I rolled my eyes at that "Your not there to judge him. He's the boss remember" "I know it just feels weird to not be bossed around by you" I walked in the bathroom and Kurro lied down in bed "You don't listen to me anyway" he chuckled "I try my best" I changed into some pajamas "Well you need to try harder" I walked out the bathroom "I am" I sat down on the bed "I'm serious Kurro" he sat up "I'm listening I promise" "You say that but..." I stood up and tied half of my hair up "I'm gonna go play the game" "Don't you have to leave first tomorrow" I walked out "Worry about your time. Your the one who can't wake up on time" I walked downstairs and sat on the couch. I wasn't actually going to play the game I just wanted to talk to Shōyō "Hello" "Oh hey Kenma what do you need at this hour" "A friend I guess" "That's new. Is it Kurro" "No it was never Kurro I think it's me" "You? What do you mean" "I mean I always call Kurro out for being childish but what if I'm the one stuck? What if I'm the one being stupid? Kurro shows constant love for me and I just scold him and put him down. When we broke up he told me that I needed him and he later confessed to him needing me but what if he was right? I think I do need him?" "You seem to have a lot on your chest but who you should really be asking all these questions to is Kurro. I most definitely believe that you love Kurro and he clearly loves you. It's usual to have trust issues in a relationship but it isn't really good so you guys should talk about it together" I but my nail "Your right sorry that I bothered you. Goodnight" "Oh no you can always talk to me Kenma. Get some sleep and don't sleep on the couch. Yes I know that's why your downstairs. Goodnight" Shōyō hung up the phone. I stood up and walked back upstairs into the room. Kurro was sleeping. I lied down and snuggled up to him. I closed my eyes and dozed off. The next day I woke up at 12 and got dressed and ready. I left out and picked up Akaashi "Did you get any other info" He asked as he got into the car "No it's about 12:50 let's hurry up" I pulled off "Did you sleep well" he asked "Surprisingly" he chuckled "I'm glad. I still feel really guilty about everything" "Don't worry it wasn't your fault. I can't get mad besides it's in the past" we drove for about 5 minutes until we reached the asylum "How do we know who the person is" Akaashi asked "Maybe they know us" I got out the car as the gates opened slowly and walked. I saw in the distance a guy with split colored hair. He looked around and then his eyes met mine. He started walking towards me. The whole way he never lost eye contact. It was honestly creepy. Once he finally reached me he spoke "Are you Kenma Kozume" "Who's asking" he smirked "You were sent by Suga right? I'm who your supposed to be getting" his aura was odd kinda hot but so very cold "Get in" he smiled and got in the back seat. His hair was split down the middle half black and half blue. He had an earring in his right ear and a earring at the top with a small chain attached. He had on grey fingerless gloves and a red shirt "What's your name kid" Akaashi asked "First off I'm not a kid I'm 23 years old and I can't tell you my name. Suga told me not to" I looked in the rear view mirror at him and the creepiest thing happened. He was looking right back at me. I quickly looked away. Once we finally reached Suga we all got out and went inside. We entered Sugas room and the guy walked behind Suga and put his hands over his eyes "Guess who" he asked playfully "You made it" He moved his hands as Suga stood up and walked up to him "Good job guys now your probably wondering what's going on. This is Kelsi Dike. He's a skilled and medically diagnosed psychopath" that explains a lot "Kelsi this is Kenma and Akaashi . You'll be working with these two for the time being" "What why us" I asked "Don't question me just do what I asked" I sighed and looked at Kelsi who was still looking at me "Hi I'm Kelsi sadly yes I was born with that name. I hope we can get along" he smiled "Interesting name. I'm Kenma it's nice to meet you" I held out my hand for him to shake. He grabbed it and smiled at me again "Thank you" he continued to hold onto my hand. Suga smiled "Akaashi can you take Kelsi out for a minute" Akaashi nodded "Kelsi step out please" he smiled me at me again and slowly let my hand go. He then walked out with Akaashi "I know what your thinking but here's the deal. Kelsi needs to be watched at all times. You can't take your eyes off of him. He literally will disappear. He always comes back but sometimes it takes a long time" "So you want me to babysit this guy who's older than me" he sighed "I don't know he seems to be attached to you so far so I've seem to made the right choice. I know Kelsi is very different but he's an amazing asset to the team" "What about sleeping" "Oh yea Kelsi sleeps like a rock. When he doesn't he'll just sit there. That does mean you two will have to stay together. It's just for the month that partners are switched. He'll stay at my house but I may need you there also. I'll see" I sighed "Anything else" "Don't be fooled. Kelsi can seem like a child at times but I assure you he is far from one. Good luck" I looked at the door "Thanks" I walked out to see Kelsi and Akaashi standing there waiting "Let's go" Kelsi let out a breath "Finally it was getting boring out here" he grabbed my hand again. I didn't hold his back but based off what Suga said I wasn't gonna fight back. Once we got in the car Kelsi sat in the front with me and Akaashi sat in the back. We drove to the spot and got out "Alright Kelsi. This is my spot I'm the boss here. What I say goes everyone here listens to me" "Cool" he nodded. This is gonna get annoying really fast "This is gonna be strange if you walk in holding my hand" he looked at our hands for a moment and then let go "Sorry it's a habit" "It's fine" we all walked in and went into my room. Kelsi sat down in a chair across from me "Kenma has anyone told you your hair is the same color as pudding" Akaashi chuckled "Yes and I'm aware that it is. Has anyone told you that your hair makes you look like a eboy" he laughed "That hurt but yes all the time. It was a much nicer color before but... witch color of your hair is natural?" "The black if it was the blonde my roots would be blond" he nodded "Its nice. I think you'd look better with black hair" "I think you would look nice with a soft color for your hair" he smiled "How did you know? Before I died it again the left was a peachy color and the right was grey" "That would look really nice. I don't miss my black hair really. I like it the way it is" "Why did you dye it" I sighed "You talk a lot" "I'm sorry. I've lived in an asylum for so long I'm used to people listening to me" "I wish I could say the same" "No you don't" he yawned "Are you tired it's only 1:30" "Yea I guess I was so excited that I couldn't sleep" I looked at Akaashi. He was on his phone "Kenma" I turned to Kelsi and almost jumped. He was doing the thing where he looks straight into my eyes. He didn't say anything. It was like he was reading me "Sorry if your afraid of me. Also the staring thing that I do is also a habit" he closed his eyes and smiled. He then opened them and looked away resting his head in his hand. Kelsi Dike, the hell is up with this guy....
