I- um w-will you-?〔Chase Davenport〕

"(Y/N)!" A voice called out from behind you as you headed down the stairs of Mission Creek High.

You turned around with a grin on your face, clutching your books to your chest. In front of, you stood Chase Davenport. The smartest guy in the whole school, everyone already knew that he was going to be the Valedictorian even though we were only in sophomore year.

I mean he was smarter then all of the teachers, of course, he'd be Valedictorian. So what did he want with you? You put one hand on the stair railing as Chase just grinned at you. Why wasn't he saying anything? You couldn't help but observe his features as he just stood there blushing.

His brown hair was spiked up in a strangely attractive way. He had hazel eyes, as well as light tan. Chase had perfect white teeth and perfectly kissable. Yeah, you might have a huge crush on Chase, but that wasn't important.

"I wanted to ask you a question." He said smiling, as he stood a step above you on the stairs case, looking down at you.

"Yeah?" You asked smiling.

"I- um w-will you-?" And just like that, it seemed like Chase's confidence seemed to evaporate.

"Are you okay?" You asked smiling kindly, reaching for his hand.

Chase blushed looking down at your hand which squeezed his. He then looked into your eyes, clearing his throat awkwardly. He scratched his neck clumsily, with his free hand before speaking again.

"Yeah, I'm okay, I just don't know how to ask you." He said shyly looking at you in the face.

Wait, was he trying to ask you to homecoming? I mean homecoming was in three days so you hoped so. You looked into his eyes, trying to make your expression as reassuring as possible before speaking again.

"Just say whatever you need to say to me.?" You said smiling confidently.

"Okay." He said shyly. "Will you um go to uh Homecoming with me?"

You were right. He did like you. He did want to go out with you! Ugh, his cuteness was now killing you, as he bit his lip waiting for your answer. I mean you already knew that you were going to say yes but you were stunned into silence. Chase liked you. Like he liked you so much that he had lots of trouble asking you out.

"Yeah!" Dial it down (Y/N) you sound desperate! "I mean I'd love too." You said smiling gently at him.

Homecoming was going to be amazing.
