BEEP BEEP BEEP my alarm went off. I somehow rolled out of bed and took a shower even though it was 6:00 AM. I put on mascara and eyeliner and a lip stain. I put my hair into two French braids and connected them in a ponytail. Next I just threw on my shirt that says "I'd rather wear flowers in my hair, than diamonds around my neck." and I wore my white skater skirt. My nails were painted Matte black so it worked perfectly. I grabbed my black studded backpack and my black penny board with a floral pattern on the back side and walked out the door. My best friend Peyton called me and asked me if I could stop by her house on the way. We live a couple streets down from each other so it wasn't a big deal.
I walked in and went to Peyton's room, and there I found her being typical Peyton. She had seven outfits laid out on her bed trying to decide which one to wear. "Ariana help." she wined. "Peyton hurry up were going to be late!"
"Ariana no this is important"
"MHM sure..."
"No seriously Jacobs going to be there."
Jacob has been her crush since last year. She ended up wearing a floral dress after debating forever. We finally road our penny boards to school. We both already new what our success class was, we were in advanced drama again. Success was homeroom at our school,but it was a second elective. We just waited by the board telling you your success class for our friends. I saw Ashley and decided to go hang out with her. She was talking to my crush, also the schools vice president, Seth. He was bragging about how he got a six pack over the summer. I decided to use this to my advantage.
"Oh really?" I decided to ask in disbelief.
"Really" he said.
"Yeah right I don't believe it." And that's when he lifted his shirt and showed me.
"Believe it now?" He asked me and then the bell rang. Peyton and I walked to drama. We were talking to all of our other friends when the drama teacher called out attention for the announcement. The loudspeaker went off and there was Seth's voice, "please stand for the pledge of allegiance" blah blah blah.... The only thing that caught my attention was that team tryouts were in the gym today at lunch. Peyton, Chloe,Hannah, Emily, Ariel, Ashley, and I all wanted to be cheerleaders this year. Piper, who was in drama, aka the school bitch was team captain though so who knows. We got our schedules and compared all of our classes and then the bell eventually rang. Off I was to history. Turns out Seth, Dylan, Bella, and Jacob were in my class. The Teacher had assigned seating already figured out and I ended up next to Seth in the back, well this is going to be a perfect class. Dylan and Jacob were next to each other and Bella was next to some random kid. Seth and I were talking all of class. We were taking about our schedules. Turns out he's in my Science and Math class as well. The bell rang and it was nutrition. I went to my locker which was right next to all of my friends. Dylan's locker was right above mine, Peyton's was to the left of mine, and Zoes was to the right of mine. We all just hung out and talked. The bell rang and my schedule said that for period 3 I have TAing in the office. so went to the office and turns out that you get a paper and then choose what teacher you want to TA for. I went to my drama teacher since she's my favorite since we have a special bond because I had her for almost all of my classes last year because she teaches multiple subjects. When I got in there Seth was already a TA for her but she let me as well since she loves me. The bell rang and I went to the gym for tryouts. Seth was in there also along with the rest of my friends who were girls. They had the gym split in half, one for cheerleading and one for football. Every other sport was outside. The football players were doing push-ups and running and doing everything else while the cheerleaders were being tested on flexibility and balance. In the end I was one of the girls picked. 20 girls are picked and then they eliminate it down to 10. Since Piper is cheer captain, she wanted to make sure all the girls she picked were skinny and fit, so they made us put on the shortest outfit out of the three we get. Well this ended up being awkward considering the boys were right next to us. Including Seth. We were "dismissed" from tryouts and we have to wait to see if we officially made the team or if we were one of the 10 that got eliminated. After that I had English with Peyton, Bella, Emily, Chloe, James, and Dylan. The teacher let us sit wherever we wanted so we all say together and he just went over the basic rules of his class. The bell rang and that was the end of the first day.
