"Wake up Sam!" My mom yelled as she opened my bedroom door, ordering me to wake up for the third time.
"I'm up, I'm just under the covers still because I'm cold." I lied
"Sure you are. But please, just get up. You don't want to have a bad reputation of being late already at your new school." She responded, walking out of my room.
I reluctantly got out of bed. This is the day i've been dreading since i moved. I wanted to spend my senior year with my friends, and graduate with them. Not some new random people. The worst part is, its already November. The first semester is already halfway finished. I dont get why I couldn't just finish the entire year at my old school.
I got dressed in blue ripped jeans, and a tight purple t-shirt. I straightened my dark brown hair. Before I left the house, I stopped in the bathroom to put on some light makeup. I slipped on a pair of black converse, and I was out the door. I got to school at 8:10, and as soon as I got in the door, the, what i'm assuming was the first bell, rang.
I swore quitely, then quickly went to the office to get my schedual.
"How may I help you?" The old secretary asked me. The card on her desk read 'Mrs. Catello.
"My name is Samantha Tambo, i'm new here, and I need my schedule."
"Oh yes, Samantha. You were supposed to be here an hour ago, remember? We called and told you to come early." She replied, searching for all of the papers I needed.
"Yeah, sorry. I slept in."
"Oh that's fine dear, you just wont have a student to help show you around. I'm sure you'll find somebody in one of your classes. Oh, here is your schedule." Mrs. Catello replied, handing it to me with a small smile. "My son, Dean, teaches you math! He's great. You actually have him right now. His classroom is at the end of the hallway to your left. He is the second last classroom." She blabbed
"Thanks." I replied with a small smile, and left the office. I headed towards the left, walking slowly. I was about to see the people I would be spending my senior year with. It was terrifying. This was my first time ever going to a new school. I had no idea how people acted here, or how they dressed, or anything. What if people thought the way i did my makeup was weird, or the way i dressed? All these thoughts were running through my head as I approached my math classroom. My heart was beating fast as I knocked on the door. A few seconds later, as the door opened, my heart stopped. I was staring at the most handsom man I had ever seen in my life. I finally snapped out of it, and looked away from his face, blushing furiously.
"Hey, you must be Samantha. My name is Dean, but you have to call me Mr.Catello. Come in"
"Hi. You can call me Sam." I replied, following him into the class. Hoping that my blush wasn't that noticeable
"Class, this is Sam, she is a new student." I stood next to Mr.Catello at the front of the class, and he introduced me to the class. I heard a bunch of 'Hi Sam's' coming from the class, but i wasn't focused with the god who is called Mr.Catello next to me. I snapped out of it once again, and looked over my class mates. My eyes stopped on a certain girl. I instantly knew who she was. Her name was Jordan Rivers. The girl who's life i'm sure I had ruined.
I didn't ruin her life on purpose tho. In fact, it wasn't even me. Thats just what everybody thinks. She used to go to my old school, and in the eleventh grade, I had discovered a big secret of hers while at the grocery store.
What happened was, me and my friends were buying snack foods for a sleepover we were having that night, and we all went into different isles to get different things, and when I went into my assigned isle, I saw it. Jordan Rivers and our Gym teacher, Mr. Spritz, holding hands, grocery shopping together. I decided not to say anything right away, instead i took out my phone and took a few pictures. After that, I casually walked by, purposely bumping into Jordan.
"Oops, i'm so sorry Jordan, oh hey Mr. Spritz." I said cheerfully, and continued on walking.
The Monday after that, during gym class, I decided to pay attention to Jordan and Mr. Spritz, and how they acted towards each other. I had never noticed it before, but Mr. Spritz would always be near Jordan, helping her, smiling at her and vice versa. I had nothing against Jordan, So I had no intention of ruining her life, but around a week later, my friend Tori, who was a huge ass kisser, was looking at my phone pictures at lunch, and saw the ones of Mr. Spritz and Jordan.
"Sam, what the hell are these pictures?" Tori cried.
"Those aren't anything Tori." I responded.
"You have to show these to the principle right now, or else I will." She yelled.
"Quite down," I whispered. "We shouldn't ruin their lives, they probably love each other. It doesn't matter if he's a teacher."
"Sam, its against school rules, shes not even 18, so its against the law! I'm going to the principle right now." She said, as she stood up and ran to the office with my phone.
That day was the last time I ever saw Jordan and Mr. Spritz.
"Alright Sam, you can sit right here." Mr. Catello pointed to a seat at the very front of the class. If that wasn't bad enough, Jordan sat right behind me.
"Alright..." I responded, walking slowly to my seat, staring at Jordan the whole time. She was staring back at me with the harshest death glare i've ever seen in my life.
I had to tell her that it wasnt me who got her caught, and I had to do it soon. I don't need her and a whole bunch of her friends hating me already.
