Chapter 1

It was just a normal day at high school . Charlie was studying in the school library when suddenly..

"Still studying here, freak?"
Brad took her backpack.

"HEY! Give me my backpack back!"
Charlie shouted at him.

"Or what, are you going to cry for mommy to come?"
He smirked.

Then she remembered it. The day that her beloved mother never came back home from work.

October 8th 2009

"Mommy,do you really have to go?"
Charlie sadly asked her mother.

"Sweetie I promise that I won't be gone for long."
Her mother kissed her forehead.

"I will miss you mommy"
They shared a long hug.

"Mr.Snugglepuff will keep you company while I'm away, okay sweetheart?, I have to go now."
She gave her daughter a last kiss on the head.

"Promise me you won't be gone for long"
Charlie said, still sad.

"I promise"

"Really?"

"Yes, my angel"
Her mother smiled softly at her.

"Okie"
Charlie hugged her teddybear.

"Bye sweetie"
Her mother patted her head.

"Bye mommy"
Charlie's grip on the teddybear tightened.

"What happened nerd?, Cat got your tongue?"
Brad laughed.

Charlie felt the urge to cry but she fought back the tears.

"I-- leave me alone"
Was the only thing she could say at the moment.

She stormed out of the library and headed towards the school bathroom as a tear escaped her eye, she tried to fight back the urge to cry but that only broke the well that was holding her tears as more tears streamed down her face.

"Mom, why did you have to leave me"
She thought as she sobbed in an uncontrollable manner.

She then proceeded to wash her face with cold water, staring at her reflection wondering what sins she had done to deserve this.
