» rose is a very calm person; because of her anxiety, she tried to overcome it by trying to stay calm in all situations. she knows panicking will only make it worse. she's gotten anxiety attacks throughout her childhood and never knew how to stop them from happening, so she started trying to calm herself down (deep breathing, picturing her happy place, closing her eyes, etc) whenever she starts to get anxious; so far it's works yet sometimes it fails. she is always living in the moment. she's always present when talking to someone; not letting distractions disrupt her focus so she can take in every word the person is saying. she never would interrupt someone and would patiently wait until try finish speaking. Rose truly listens to people and will always give her opinion and advice. due to her compassionate nature and interest in helping others, she is always open as a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen to. she's very soft spoken and her voice often soothes others. Rose is extremely genuine. she is who she is and understands that some people won't like her no matter what she does. although she doesn't enjoy how people can be so judgmental, she *attempts* to ignore it. it's definitely not that she doesn't care what others think about her or if they like her or not, but simply that she's not going to let that stop her from being herself. she's pretty open minded and tries not to pass judgement too often. she is definitely not driven by ego. when she makes her decisions, it's based on her opinion and intentions rather than doing something for admiration. she's a bit insecure as well. yes, she's always herself and doesn't let people opinions stop her from that; but that doesn't mean she doesn't care what those opinions are. she's pretty insecure about herself and isn't to confident. she's an introvert and isn't to loud; hoping she isn't bothering anyone. she doesn't make her insecurities very known to others. she loves herself for who she is and doesn't see why others are so judgmental. this trait of hers is something she keeps to herself; putting a smile on her face no matter what.
she's always saying sorry even when an apology isn't needed. it's usually an automatic reaction to somethings and habit she doesn't even realize she has. rose is a very sweet girl; she's always wanting to make people feel good. whether it be giving compliments and hyping them up, taking time to listen, giving them advice, etc, she always tries to make the person feel their best. she always puts other people first - which sometimes results in her not getting enough self-love and affection.
she's a bit like her mother in a way where given the situation, she might let someone walk all over her. she knows when she needs to protect herself and when something is wrong, but she isn't good at realizing when someone is using her or taking control of her. she's full of forgiveness and easily forgives someone no matter the circumstance. this can lead to her forgiving someone when they don't deserve it; tying in to her letting people walk all over her. she's a bit of the mom friend; always making sure her friends are alright and doing well. whenever they're not okay, she'll do everything she can to help. shes incredibly understanding and she's open to all ideas - no matter how ridiculous. (we all know how jame's ideas and plans go...) she'll always take things under consideration. she sees all people equally and usually does not have a biased opinion. she doesn't have house prejudice (or even species prejudice). she knows not all slytherin are bad - even if it's hard for her to believe sometimes. she also doesn't see a need to stereotype species - given someone is a werewolf, centaur, giant, etc or not. because she grew up in the muggle world, she finds all creatures intriguing.
