A Siren Song (Error x Timekid)

Ch. 4

Tk decided to look around from where he sat. So far the only way out that he could see was the little pond thingy.

Tk whimpered, curling up slightly. He winced a pain flared up in the bite mark. Great... Just what he needed.

His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of something getting out of water. He looked at the pond, freezing in fear as he saw the error lookalike emerge from the water. They fully got out of the water, their expression blank. When they fully got out of the water, they scooted over to Tk.

Tk tried to back away but the pain flaring it his wound made him wince and stop. Soon they were right in front of him. He stared at them, them staring right back. It was pretty silent for a while.

During that silence, Tk noticed something. The lookalike looked young. Almost as young as him. It was like they were only a year older than him. Next thing he noticed was their eyelights. They seemed mesmerizing... To a point anyways.

The lookalike whined, their blank expression morphing to worry. They were worried?? Why? Didn't... Didn't they want to hurt him??

They leaned forward, Tk leaning backwards in fear. Tk's back hit the wall before he could fully lean back, him silently cursing. They had leaned close to his face, their faces an inch away from each other. A dark blush formed on his bones.

They looked at his face, as if studying him. Tk was worried about what they were doing.

They then licked the areas on his face where the blisters formed, Tk squeaking in surprise.

They soon stopped pulling away. They still had a worried expression. Tk was about to ask them what they were doing until he realized the blisters stopped hurting. Did... Did they heal the blisters? Why...?

They whined again, as if asking if he was still hurting.

Tk stuttered out," I-i think t-they stopped hurting... U-uhm.... T-t-thanks...??"

They relaxed, soft relieved sounding clicks coming from them now. They then nuzzled him, a deep purr sound coming from them. Were they comforting him???

Tk hesitated," ..... U-uhm...... Are... You trying to comfort me...?"

They nodded, a louder purr leaving them.

To asked,"... Why....?"

They paused looking at him and tilting their head. They then made clicking sounds, pointing at the bite wound before using signlanguage to say ' protect.'

"P...protect....? Protect from what..? Also you know sign language?"

They nodded slightly, signing,' A little. Not all words I know. Also protect from others.'

"....what others??"

They signed again,' Others Like me. They want to hurt you. I want to protect you.'

".... Why do you want to protect me?", Tk tilted his head.

They hesitated before signing,' reasons.'

Tk frowned but didn't show his worry. Most of his questions weren't answered. He then asked," who are you?"

They seemed to smile,' Name is Error. Others call me Bubbles.'

"Bubbles... Ok.", Tk smiled slightly," I'm tk."

Bubbles grinned, curling up against Tk. They had set their head on Tk's, cuddling up to him. Tk wanted to push them away, still not trusting them , but he had gotten drowsy. He yawned, accidentally setting his skull on Bubbles shoulder. He slowly closed his eyes, darkness filling his mind. He soon fell asleep...
