I just noticed that the story is running a bit fast ( Not really, someone has to point it out and I am thankful. ) so in return here's an update.

NOTE: There might be a few changes ( Just the chapter titles ) Nothing major. :)

ALDRICH'S POV

I'm in my classroom sitting beside the window, I tried to act as if I'm listening to the lesson. I stared at the comic I bought a few days ago, but I can't concentrate with all the thoughts I have in my mind. I tried to recall what just happened earlier with Ashley's friends.

I introduced myself and they introduced themselves to me. I'm not the kind of person you could rely on remembering things, especially when it comes to names that I wasn't really used to remembering besides the teacher's name.

My eyes drifted in the room, Kevin sitting infront of me and Grey beside me.

Kevin, I don't know him much but I guess he's kind to few, you can't ignore the look he gave to Lizzy. A self-proclaimed metalhead but there's more to what I see than that.

Grey, he's the quiet guy. Thoughtful and has his own world. I blinked, seeing him drawing something on his notebook than copying what's on the board.

The teacher in our classroom went out, probably she was going to get something. The chatter my classmates made is getting a bit louder.

"Hey Al."

My thoughts were disturbed when Kevin called my name. I cocked an eyebrow at him.

"Man, now I see why you always sit over here. The view's great." Kevin said staring out the window. I smiled a bit. They, Ashley's friend is talking to me. You can't blame me, everything felt so new.

"I know, just don't let the teacher catch you or else it's detention." I said with a slight chuckle. This was alright, right? I think it is a good reply.

"Thanks man, so what're you reading?" Kevin asked turning around in his seat just to see the comic on my desk.

I guess this is the moments where a friendly conversation is about to begin. Moments when two person talk to each other to pass the time.

"Well... just a comic I bought a few days ago." I said. What the hell Aldrich, JUST? What am I, a geek? It wasn't even a freaking comic. I can admit-

"Oh my God. Oh my effin' God." Kevin said, he lifted his hand and picked up the book from my desk. Great, now he's going to make fun of m-

"Just a comic?" He asked me. What? "Hey Grey, this kid here." He raised the book so Grey could see it. "Damn. This is the latest edition of Bleach! I didn't know..." He mumbled the rest of his sentence as he skimmed through the book.

What...?

"You...? Like Bleach?" I asked slowly. Kevin looked up at me for a quick second which surprised me. He then grinned.

"LIKE? Dude. I freakin' love this manga! Hell I worship this. Grey on the other hand... not so much." Kevin said shaking his head.

Grey being his thoughtful self reacted. "What? I'm not allowed to have an opinion now?" He asked. "I like the story. I just think it's a little... you know, weak." He ran his hands through his hair. "Shingeki no Kyojin on the other hand, now that's another story." He said, snapping his fingers. I blinked.

"You read SnK?" I asked Grey.

"Ha! SnK has nothing on Bleach!" Kevin argued waving my manga on the air. What just-

"Yeah right! There's more action, more blood, there are Titans! Titans!" Grey shouted.

"So what?! Bleach has a mix of romance, action, and much much more blood than SnK!" Kevin shouted back.

"Well let's ask Aldrich about it, what do you think?" Grey asked.

What? Why me? Why do they want my opinion?

"Yeah Al, tell Grey all the greatness-" Kevin was cut off by Grey.

"Shut it Kev, How can he tell us if your mouth is blabbering such nonsense." Grey said. They were really talking to me. They were asking me questions.

"Well..." I started.  "I have to agree with Kevin-" I was cut off b y Kevin's cheer.

"See! I told you so." Kevin said.

"Cut it, he's not finish talking yet." Grey said.

"I have to agree with Kevin that Bleach is a good manga, but that's only because SnK has just gotten started. Bleach has a clear 500 or so chapter... against SnK, it wouldn't be fair to compare the two of them. With that being said, SnK does have its spot lights. I mean hey, they are battling against titans who ate people, but let's focus on the positive side instead of fighting, I think I speak for all of us when I say both manga's are equally funny in some way." I said with a chuckle.

I continued chuckling to myself then I realized the two were just staring at me with silence, so I stopped. Please don't tell me I messed it up.

"I have to admit, Sasha's potato addiction is funny, hmm Eren vs. Jean I liked how Eren knocked him down, and when someone asked about the noise someone told him that it was Sasha's fart." Kevin said with a laugh.

"Hey, what about the time when Hiyori is calling Toshiro a kid and midget? Toshiro is a freakin' captain! Damn. THis seriously did got me good." Grey laughed.

They were agreeing...

"Nice job Aldrich, you saved us from a long pointless argument back there." Grey said patting my back. My glasses fell off when he did that but I didn't mind it at all. I just experienced a friend hitting me I think he just praised me.

"Whoops, sorry 'bout that." Grey said, probably looking down at it. Even though it's kind of blurry, I could tell Kevin is lifting up my glasses. "Here man." He said. No one has ever picked up my glasses for me before.

"Thanks." I mumbled grabbing them and putting them back on.

"Ohh Darn! She's back." Kevin said turning around his seat and staring at the teacher.

"Alright students, I'm going to return your old quiz." She said, returning our papers one by one. "Just shout your scores when I called your surnames." She shrugs.

We got all our papers back, but like some students we are not concentration or looking at our scores.

"Austin?" The teacher called out.

Kevin turned back around to return the manga to me and Grey smiled, teasing Kevin.

"Benjamin?" She called out again.

"Lizzy's gonna be so proud to see him reading." Grey said with a chuckle, as I grinned.

"Boyle?" She called out again.

"10." I mumbled.

"Study more Boyle." She said.

"You know what that means." Kevin said, looking at his paper.

"Welp." Grey said.

Kevin and Grey got to say their scores later; they looked at each other and started laughing. Good thing the teacher doesn't mind a few laugh. So I smiled and joined in.

So this was how it felt to have friends.

Like fun and happiness, it had to be stopped and cut shortly by something bad. After our scores were already shouted for the teacher to write, the bell rang. A signal for our next class.
