*Flash Back*
*Thirteen Years Ago*
*Kaylin POV*

"Kaylie ven aca so we can take a family picture", my mommy said as I eat my ice cream.

I ran to her and stand next to Antonio and Jadah and smile.

"Okay okay everyone say cheese", my godmommy Ellie said taking pictures.

We all said cheese and went about our business after that. I walk up to Toni and Marc and smile at them.

"What you guys wanna do for fun?"

"We're gonna play with our water guns, you wanna play?", Marc asked.

I smiled and nodded. Minutes later Marcus, Jadah, Antonio, mom, dad, and our cousins started to play also.

"C'mon let's all get dad!", Jadah shouted as we all did as told.

Within seconds dad was soaking wet. We all laughed at him and he started shooting at me and Toni also . As I was running to Toni, daddy picked me up and smiled at me.

"Daddy what are you doing? You're letting Toni get away", I ask my dad as I smile at him.

He chuckled and smiled. "Baby girl I just wanted you to know that I love and will always be there for you and protect you no matter what. I love you Kaylin"

"I love you too daddy"

"Now lets go get Toni and Marc", he said putting me down as we run after the boys ready to splash 'em.

*End Of Flash Back*

"Kaylin what happened? Kaylin?!", Yvette shouted interrupting my thoughts.

I looked at her blankly. "I'm not doing this no more", I said as I got up and walked off.

"Kaylin!", Yvette shouted following me.

"Face it Yvette either way we're not going to win. You're not going to win. If I try to turn him in Terrell is going to be the one suffering not him. You heard what he said!", I exclaimed as I face her.

"No Kaylin we are going to win this war"

"Well according to him this war never started"

"Kaylin you not having any faith towards this is showing who's the one with more power and it's clearly not us"

"Listen and listen good. I just found that my father is the devil and you on my ass about finding out who the killer is-is not making shit any better. So, get off my fucking back and let me breathe for a minute"

She was mute and just stormed out the room. I picked up a phone and made a phone call.

"Hey can I come see you?"

"......"

"Alright cool"

I hung up and left this other warehouse and drove off.

"What's up?", Terrell asked.

"Nothing I just wanted to see you"

"Did something bad happened? Because you only hit me up when something bad has happened"

I lightly smiled. "Sad how our relationship is right now though is so true"

"Nah but, for real what's up?"

"I have a whole lot of shit on my mind and I didn't know who to go to and you were the first thing that popped in my head"

"Wanna talk bout it?"

"I guess so"

"Aight then talk"

"Have you ever regretted founding out about something?"

"Yeah why?"

"Because I found out the truth about a close relative of mine and now my whole world just went crashing down by that"

"Damn..."

"What should I do?"

"Depends on the situation"

"It's related to what the person has down in the past"

"Well you're going have to deal with it. And it's gonna take time for you to accept that fact"

I smiled at Terrell. Having this conversation with him made me remember why I liked him in the first well third place. He was easy to talk to and calm and humble at situations like this.

"So, how come you didn't hit up your mans?", he asked with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes and then just smiled. "Because in this kind of situation he wouldn't make me feel as comfortable as I'm feeling right now toward talking to you about my issues"

He nodded and smiled. "So, I'm guessing we're friends?"

I smiled. "Yeah we're friends"

"Well um I gotta head to a store to get some ice cream for Camille. So, can I get a hug before I go", he ask.

I sighed and hugged him. "How bout a kiss also?", he whispers into my ear.

I lightly pushed him off and chuckled. "Now you're dragging it"

We said our goodbyes and went about or business. As I walk to my car I see Xavier staring at me as if he saw everything towards Terrell and I.

"Um Xavier what are you doing here?", I ask tensing up a bit.

"What was that all about?", he ask referring to Terrell and I.

"Oh me and him were discussing about the club, Camille, their baby, and other stuff. I'm just being friendly you know"

"You seemed to be a little too friendly don't you think?"

I rolled my eyes and walked to my car as Xavier's eyes were on me. "Listen Xavier I don't got time for you to be bitching right now so just cut me some slack and go about your business", I said as I got in my car and speed off.
