We are at the beach today again I'm just sitting on the lounge chair with Elena and watching over the girls.The past few weeks have been going great except seeing Sergio and his girlfriend suck each others face out and I was feeling hurt because I was still in love with him but didn't show it...we'll be going back to New York in a couple of days.

Hey,what do you think of a masquerade party for Sergio's birthday...Elena asked.

It will be okay but it's like in a couple of weeks,so you can organize it back in New York...I replied

Good,urgh you know what I like about parties being perfect.Everything has to be literally Perfect...she smiled.

Okay,suit yourself... I reply glancing back at my phone until Eva calls me...

Mummy,what do you think of our sand castle...she asks smiling.

Hmm,I think it's amazing and beautiful as both of you... I reply returning the smile...

Thanks,both girls chorused and they hug me...
I head inside to refill my glass when I feel hands wrapped around my waist and the scent of the familiar cologne I love reaches my nose I know who it was but I have to act rude...

What are you doing?...I ask trying to free myself from his grip...

Relax senorita it's not like I'm kidnapping you or something...he replies sniffing me...

Why on earth are you sniffing me...I asked slightly irritated.

I just miss your scent,you might have changed but your shampoo definitely hasn't...he replies tightening his grip on me...

Okay I couldn't deny I felt like staying in that position and I'm feeling butterflies in my stomach but I needed to snap out of it...

If you needed to sniff someone your girlfriend is out there and she would gladly welcome you...I reply with a hint of jealousy in my voice.

Ooh,I can smell...jealousy.Are you jealous?he asks smirking.

I can never be jealous cuz I have a very handsome,caring and loving husband...I reply and he releases me.

What I said was an irony Michael was none of those except handsome.I turn around to see him clenching his jaw and balling his fists like he's ready to punch someone then he looks at me like he's about to do something but I can't tell and my heart is beating really fast.

Does he make you feel the way I do?does he make hold you close to himself?does he make you feel this?he asks angrily and takes my hand and places it on his chest...

of course he does...I reply ignoring his gaze and removing my hand.

Can you feel that?it's my heartbeat it's for you.My heart belongs to you...he whispers.

uhm...we should be going back,the others are probably worrying about us... I reply leaving his grip.

But he grabs my arm and brings me to himself and crashes his lip with mine.I've waited so long for this but not in this way I don't know why I just did it but I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him back...

What are you doing?my subconscious asked.

I'm kissing the man of my dreams.. I replied in a durh  tone

Snap out of it,you are supposed to be hard on him... She reminded me.

Without thinking twice I pulled away and slapped him...I don't know what made me do that,I glared at him and ran upstairs and locked myself in my room.
I take a shower and put on my nightwear and sat on the bed and dozed off.

woke up to hear the sounds of screams,I look at the time it's 02:30am.Who would be screaming at this time?I asked myself
I'm still thinking until I hear Elena calling my name...

Si,you have to come out it's Eva she's having a nightmare and she keeps on screaming your name... She yells

What... Oh shoot..Eva keeps having nightmares about Michael attacking us...

I rush out to her room and everyone's there...Eva is still screaming my name and I rush to her side...

Baby,I'm here there's no need to be scared... I say sadly.

Mummy,he was here and he said he's going to kill us... Eva replied hugging me tightly.

Baby,no one apart from your friends are here.Nobody's going to kill us.I reply trying to calm her down.

Mummy,please... don't leave me.I promise... to be a good girl I won't be... naughty anymore...she says in between sobs.

Honey,mummy's not going to leave you.I'll be with you forever...I reply trying to hold back my tears.

Her eyes start to close and I signal the others to leave.Seeing my daughter this way breaks my heart she has been having those nightmares since she saw Michael beat me and when she has them it's hard to calm her down and I have mine,most times I avoid sleep and keep myself busy...
When I notice she's fast asleep I kiss her goodnight and exit her room.I knew everyone would need an explanation but I have to give some excuse.
I head downstairs and I'm right they all are waiting anxiously for an explanation.

Si,what's wrong with Eva?Is she going to be fine?Elena asks curiously...

Lena,she's going to be fine.It's just a nightmare,trust me she's going to be okay...I lied.

From the look of things I don't think so,you should consult a child therapist,Damian replies concerned.

Damian she's my daughter I assure she'll be fine... I lied again.

She'll be fine,how is she going to be fine.She just said someone's going to kill you both... Sergio yells.

You should lower your voice,you don't want the kids to wake up...I replied calmly.

I won't lower my voice until you tell me who the fuck is going to kill you...he replies still yelling but a bit lower.

I said nobody,everyone has nightmares once in a while..I lied again.

Sienna it's not once, it happened before when she stayed over,we manged to calm her down..Damian blurted...

What?I asked shocked.This happened and none of you told me...I yelled furiously.

Si,we thought it was normal because Sophie also has nightmares so we didn't want to disturb you...She replies sadly.

If you don't tell me who's planning on killing you,I'll find out and if I do I might have to go to jail for murder...Sergio glares at me and walks off.

Sienna,you're like a sister to me if there's something bothering you tell us we can help you solve it...Damian assured giving me a brotherly hug.

Si,he's right we are like family so you can tell us your problem..she smiled hugging me.

I nod and they go upstairs I slump down on the couch,I want to share my problems with someone but I can't it's not that easy.I blame myself,Eva's suffering because of my mistake.
