Alpha x Omega

CH. 6

After a few days, the paperwork was filled out and plans for a proposal dinner was being made. Nasu was excited to be proposing, unaware Ciel had some news to share. Ciel went to see the doctor to confirm what he had seen on each and every test. They all said positive except two. "You're pregnant but you're might not be able to make it to full term. Unfortunately your womb underwent some trauma some time ago, and it seems to have caused substantial damage. Almost as if you've been through an abortion. Have you been pregnant before?" The doctor asked, but Ciel thought the doctor was talking nonsense about having an abortion before. "No, I've never had an abortion before but is this going to affect my baby?" The doctor looked at the screen and studied the area. "It shouldn't affect the baby, but you will need to take it easy and probably get some information from your parents about what the scaring is from. You may be repressing some memories and they might be able to fill in the blanks. If this is what I suspect then it wasn't done professionally and we can figure out what to do from there." Ciel wondered if his parents were hiding something from him. He remembers that he had been raped when he was young but he doesn't really remember who did it or much else from that time, the police never came up with any leads and the case ran cold so Ciel moved on. "Alright doctor, I will ask my parents but what do I do for now?" He sighed and placed his hand on his lower abdomen. The doctor hands him a prescription for prenatal vitamins and a booklet about prenatal care. "Everything is going to be fine, a baby is a blessing as long as you take it easy you will be fine. I know its a lot to take in, but I actually know what you're going through. You're scared about telling your parents because you're still young and you're not the only one, many people struggle with the same fear. I see you have a mark, have you told your Alpha anything or are you scared of him?" He listened to her and his nerves eased off. He smiles when she asked about Nasu. "I haven't told him yet, but its not because I'm scared of him, its because I wanted to be sure about what to tell him, and if my parents kick me out, then I'm sure I can live with him. He makes me happy and I feel at ease when I'm near him. I felt this way even before we became mates. Thank you doctor, I'm fine now." She smiled and gave him some pointers on how to keep his stress level down. Once the appointment was over, Ciel looked at his phone and thought about who he should call first. He took a deep breath and called his parents, once it connected he spoke. "Mom, can you and Dad meet me and Nasu at a restaurant called the Purple lantern? I have some news to share and some questions to ask. Its a nice restaurant so wear something decent." His mom was very confused and the tone in Ciel's voice concerned him. "Sweetie, is everything alright? You sound like you're going to cry." Ciel pulled his face away from the phone for a minute then composed himself and returns to the call. "Yeah I'm fine mom, just meet us at the purple lantern, um...how is dad doing, is he still upset?" His mother paused but sighed. "He's going to be fine, he's just doing what all dad's do when their kids find someone to date. I'll make sure he's at dinner. Send me the details and we'll be there."  Ciel chuckled a little. "Alright, thanks mom, I love you both, see you tonight." He then hung up after hearing the same thing from him. He the called Nasu only to tell him that he was inviting his parents to because he had an announcement to make. "I want everyone to be in one place when I say this so you're welcome to invite your parents as well." Nasu was a little surprised but agreed and understood that it must be super important.  "Alright, the we can schedule our dinner for another night. I'm sure it will be fun, my parents have been wanting to meet your parents anyway. See you tonight. I'll pick you up at five so we can make our reservation, although I might need to let them know we're going to need a bigger table." He laughs, it made Ciel giggle. "Alright, I love you." Nasu replied. "I love you too." They hung up and Ciel went home to get dressed and sent the details of the dinner to his mom. Nasu was getting ready as well and calling both the restaurant to change the reservation details then his parents to let them know they were invited to dinner.  He sent them the details and they were very excited. "Oh sweetie your father and I are very happy you finally decided to let us meet your mate, and we get to meet the parents. This is going to be fun, we can't wait." Nasu felt like he was regretting ever inviting his parents. Ciel's parents were both male, his father was an Alpha Male but his mother was a beta male.  But Nasu's parents were both female, his father was Alpha and his mother was an Omega. Ciel didn't care that his mother was a beta but he was always teased by his classmates when he was in primary school but nowadays his classmates didn't really say anything. He was pretty happy with his family and he was proud to be their son, but if his parents are hiding something from him then he was  I'm to question if he could continue to call them his parents.
